Yeah, the new Robin Hood is a hard pass, for me.

Watching Ralph tomorrow. Going to join the Black Friday masses. I have not been in that rat race in years.

Oh, don't misunderstand me, the new Robin Hood looks atrocious. Contrary to the Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie (which I really quite liked), this one seems to be total bullshit all around. But, since I got that movie pass which allows me to go to every movie and I like to go once a week... it passes into "let's see how bad it is" territory.

Dude, having a movie pass does not mean you have to torture yourself.

I don't watch all the bad movies, just the ones which could be so bad that they are entertaining. The worst movies to watch are the ones where you go in with high expectations and they are really bad, like Kingsman: The Golden Circle. By happenstance also with Taron Egerton.

Pffft, far from it. But going to the movies is my big entertainment of the week, since I don't own a television. Even telling my friends how bad a movie was is quite entertaining. ^^

Probably the best Disney LA adaptation trailer so far (with
Jungle Book
trailer a close second):

I know it's an easy-nostalgia-bait of a trailer, but at least they did the bait right this time. The movie can be total shit for all I care, but this teaser-trailer hit all the right notes for me.

How about good low-key/independent/non-blockbuster movies? Have you tried watching those with you moviepass?

Nah, I'm not a fan of French problem movies.

French and problem, now those are two words that belong together in every sentence!
So I have one thing to say about
Rocky VIII
...
CREED II
... with no spoilers, no nuttin'...
But dude...
THE COLD WAR IS OVER, MAN!
That is all.

Except for Hillary Clinton fans who want to put the blame for her election loss on Trump and Putin, I guess. ^^

I am not touching that with a 10,000 metaphorical-feet pole. Where I work, I deal with many folks from a number of unions, and those people can only be described as "box(es) of deplorables".

Yeah, no problem. Just wanted to say, Russia-phobia definitely still is alive in the US.

I'd rather not get into a detailed discussion how bullshitty Russiagate is on my smartphone.

Yeah, let's not get into Russiaphobiagate. Since I work in a government institution here in the state of Commiefornia, deep-rooted belief in the aforementioned conspiracy is not uncommon. I have personally met a number of individuals who exercise a level of behavior that'd render Alex Jones from Info Wars pale in comparison.
I am quite irritated.

Well, I watched
The Predator
, yesterday. The best thing I can say about it is that it ended, honestly.
