Nah, game has been around for a while. It's a rhythm game for mobile.

So basically you get to change costumes of historic idols, and pair them in unlikely situations such as this:

Hmpf, doesn't sound too interesting, to be honest. I'd still love to play DanMachi Memoria Freeze, but alas, it ain't out in Germany.

It's not available in Europe at all, at least last I checked, which was during May. ^^

That's weird, I thought these mobile games were region-free...

Welp, I was wrong.

Nah, for some reason they never launched it in Europe. It was supposed to come out somewhen, but I never found out why it did not.

Actually, it did come out, but it simply doesn't appear in my app store. My android version is good enough, so I'll investigate why I can't find it. However, at first glance there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to play it.

Or maybe I should NOT get into a anime gatcha game. I have some addictive personality traits, for example I am seriously still considering spending about 600 Euros to get a certain mount in World of Warcraft. This is after playing the game for 15+ years, though, with a much better personal income and the mount actually has in-game functionality (access to the auction house everywhere you can mount). I'll probably won't get it, because fucking 600 Euros (for which I could get a better sofa for example), but still. I've been seriously thinking about it for a few days now and given that my birthday will be rolling around soonish, I might still get weak around that time.

So, probably not a good idea to get into games where you can spend huge amount of money on anime waifus. ^^

Haha, I will confess, I have been absorbed in Girls Frontline and Azur Lane for the last 2 years. And Although I have not laid a ton of money in one shot on these games, I am guilty of buying the monthly packs to maintain resources ahead of the daily stuff one can get.

Dude, I would totally spend the 600 Euros now to get the Spectral Tiger, but that mount (from a loot card from years ago from the defunct World of Warcraft CCG) is up to 3.500 - 4.000 dollars/euros now on Ebay. Impossible unless you are really wealthy. Back then when it first appeared, it already went for 500 Euros on Ebay. It's the ultimate prestige object in WoW, though.

Bah, I will only spend that much money on my ladies of WOOD AND STEEL! Or for a new computer, if necessary...

I might point out all the anime babe / mecha models you guys probably have sitting around on desks in your house.

It's all good. I'm actually doing it and spending the money. Got some advice from my friends that they also spend money on virtual stuff for games they play a lot. And let's just say that I probably put several years of my lifetime into WoW over the last, what is it... 15 years and four months. Ouch, man. ^^

Gacha games? Eh, I've been playing Gundam Breaker Mobile (GBGW) for months now....


....and I haven't even spent a penny ever since launch day. I can still keep up with the game just fine. My average ranking on the weekly arena is around 700-1000th place among millions of players. There are various missions to do and the interface is not a clusterfuck like whatever you have in FGO in that Gigguk video. You can also get a slew of favorite Gundam characters from the franchise with some patience. And I can still get very nice units & parts without ever opening my wallet or my bank account.


I think whether or not you'll spent so much money really depends on both self-control and the nature of the game. Gacha games which are made to screw over F2P players and leave them in the dust are really not recommended for those who just want to save money & play for fun. So far, GBGW has been very nice to me.

Well, my ultimate calculation comes down to many work hours I am spending to pay off this in-game purchase vs. how many free-time hours I'd have to invest to make the same amount of money. It's simply no comparison, I'd have to spend something like 10 times the time, at least, to get the same amount of money in WoW. I can spend this time more productively on other stuff.

And since I'm motivated to get the mount (Which I've definitely felt nagging me for the last weeks), I'd do something to get it. This is preferable, if it doesn't get to be a habit.
