The real great titles are suffering because of the popular crappy series.
Your arguments are 100% right.
1. Adults are taking anime as a tipical cartoons.
2. Many teenagers thinks that anime is only like Naruto etc. and they don't have no idea about existing titles like Kanon or CLANNAD and even so... they think that they are boring. Because there is no fight, no stupid characters and there aren't many episoded. "24 episodes of Kanon 2006? Pfff... Naruto has got 200 and higher".

Now that really piss me off.
So they prefer to watch popular but stupid title without any sens in ending?

I am curious, what are theyr feelings when they will finish this title?
When I finished Kanon and Clannad I was thinking about many things about life etc. and I am thinking about it even today.
So tell me, what my reflections would look like after watching Naruto of Bleach? :P

I can tell you that even comedies with nothing special are a lot better than Naruto and Bleach.
For example I really like Mahoraba Heartful Days as a manga and anime because it is a really nice comedy and watching or reading it makes me calm.

Ruhisu, yes this is true. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece fans are everywhere. Maybe, it is not really so bad, but they don't want really know something except this titles or have never saw something really serious, it's bad. That's why this stuff with serious feelings and drama isn't really popular, well known and spread.

And the same case with the original Key games (okay, we are talking about Key). It's bad, in Japan at least Key has a real reputation as one of the best vn-studios ever. But outside Japan... Well, let's ask someone in my country at one of the biggest forums. And what are the results ? If 2-5 from 500+ people had played Key games - it wil be a real progress. Bad. Too bad.

Even more, people would think about person who played Key games or is watching anime by Key that this person is boring or stupid.

Thats why I am so pissed off.
Key can wake up many reflections and feelings but this is not popular in present times.
I'm glad that there exist groups like ours which can try to show the beauty of Key productions to other people.
My personal succes is that 4 of my friends who ejoy titles like Claymore, Naruto etc. found Kanon 2006 really wonderful.

Don't get me wrong but for a person like me who is interested in military, title like Claymore is really funny since there are anti-infantry mines called Claymore XD

Yeah, I'm fully understanding you. You know, there was a couple of guys at the one of biggest forums in my country who really thought that everyone who plays this stuff are loosers, perverts, guys without girlfriends and a real shower with some other, hmm, "uncensored" words...

It's funny to see their reactions after asking "Have you ever tried this stuff ?" And wanna know the answer ? "Why we should play this shit developed for thid "looser-type" people." And they are not making the real difference with classical hentai stuff (as it's called outside Japan) and serious vn-novels stuff.

Verry funny and sad. But it's good that real masses have heard at least something about this stuff and not writing something stupid. At least, they tried something from this stuff, not only something with unknown stupid classical hentai plot with a lot of breasts and so on.

And let's back to this "boring" works. Aha, masses like stuff with a real action, a lot of action. And something serious is a boring stuff for them. Bad. Too bad.

Ignore it. I would laugh at their faces and say: "So you prefer to stay with primitive fighting stuff with no sence? This means you can't call yourself human because humans bulieve do have hearts"

I would ask them what do they find good in Naruto.
And tell me, if this strange thing which Naruto is making with himself turning into naked girl isn't something close to hentai than where in Kanon 2006 we can find hentai?
Maby in scene when Yuuichi was with Makoto in the bathroom?

The simple way to call this kind of people.
They are a loosers they' were talking about.

For example.
I don't like hip hop, rap, techno and any present shit which modern teens are calling popular.
And bulieve me, I am not any middle aged person but 22 years old guy who thinks that most of today popular things are primitive.

So... does it mean that I'm a looser? Does it mean that I can't listen any more to Whitesnake, Rush, Queen etc. because modern world prefer something else?

No! I think that we should not care about what people are saying about Key productions.

We can be proud that we are the elite of people who can feel, think about serious things etc.

Also Key creates music so beutiful that can be used for everything.
For example I can direct you to my video about FSX where I used music from CLANNAD. I am wondering how it would look with music from Naruto :P

Ruhisu.I am considered strange too because I don't like modern things that most people like.It's irritating.But I've become used to it already.
People around me are bewildered when they know that I cry when I'm watching Clannad and they think I'm crazy.But I am also curious why they sit still watching Korean Drama with tears in their eyes.It's the because of the different in tastes.I don't like their tastes but I never say out aloud"Korean drama is stupid only fools watch it".How can they judge that I'm strange person.

Indeed it's a metter of taste but there are people who can't understand that each person has got his own taste and they think that each thing which is not relative to their taste is wrong.

So thats the reason why I have got a thin group of friends who understand my feelings and are contributing things I like.

Some time ago I posted a image in CLANNAD image board which was about my story in universum betweem 1'st season and After Story. Some sort of story filling the time space.
I am wondering if you would be interested in it.
The base storyline is about transfer student named Yukito Kurosaki who arrived from USA.
Because of his great marks and reputation in school his principal gived him a chance to become a student of school which we know from CLANNAD.

I want to make this story a half funny, much serious and romantic.
The dramatic part will be when Yukito after an accident will become blind, and since he loves music, it will be his guide. (title. "Voice of the music")

About the romantic part I am thinking about him to fall in love with Kyou or Tomoyo but I would like to see your opinion since the story is in planning phase.

Well at first I want to create a story, some sort of script or fanfic. When I or we finish it, I'll begin with manga version. My drawing skills are becoming better from day to day so I don't see any problems with realization.

Visual Novel. That's it. But manga version is also should be fine.

I have the base storyline but I am thinking now about things like his love etc.
I would like to ask you all about your opinions.
I need thinks like:

1. Person who will help him on the beggining (with school etc.)
2. Person who will become his best friend.
3. Person who he will fall in love with.
4. For the comedy and dramatic part I think that also a person who could be his silent adorator could me needed.

Maby I should try to describe Yukito a little.
He's 17 years old, nearly 18.

He can play on piano and guitar.
He is good at sports and with many subjects.

It is easy to piss him off (poor Sunohara then).
He is shy to girls in first parts of the story so even if he fall in love he is afraid to tell that.

My first conception was that he will fall in love with Tomoyo but he won't tell her anything to the moment before his accident. He will try to invite her to cafee but she will apologize him and decline because she has got many duties in the council.
After that Kyou as Yukito's silent adorator will blame Tomoyo that this accident was her fault. (Because of dammaged traffic lights he didn't spot a car coming so the hit was pretty strong. The power throwed him on road obstacle which dammaged his nerves. When he woke up in hospital after 5 days he said to doctors that he can't see anything. The answer was that he is blind)

So in my conception Kyou is silent adorator just like it was with Okazaki.
I don't want to accept this conception untill I'll know your opinion.

To create a good story author always want to ask other for help so each idea would be great.
Remember that I want to make "Voice of music" a multi project of our all.

Well, we chatted a bit about the third question. Okay, let's try to catch an idea, this funfic or even manga project in future can be really interesting. Hmm... I've got some ideas, but this situation reminds me a bit NHK. I'll describe it soon, but I'm interested - what kind of person you want to be his friend ?

Well I think that it could be a person who would help him very much with everything since he is a new student.
It is needed since Yuki is a person who doesn't like teasing and bullying so he had a fight with Sunohara on first day.
I think that his best friend should understand him.
I was thinking about Kotomi-chan since they both loves music.

But maby Kyou. Perhaps she would be a perfect person to take care with him after the accident.
