Also, Delta ranked higher than I would have guessed, in Newtype Anime Awards 2016.

OTOH, Delta so far isn't bad, but not exactly top notch. I am surprised at some of the awards, for example: Best mecha design goes to High School Fleet & Iron-Fortress, and I was thinking, what mecha?

Biba kinda ruined Iron-Fortress for me, so... I dunno.
And I never said Delta was top-notch, either. Just not the trainwreck some people here paint as.

Then there is the GuP film OST. I love the soundtrack, but its not 'original'. I mean, panzerlied and Marching in the Snow are absolute fan favorites... but...

Ah, Subaru is kinda awesome, man. I don't understand why people can't see that, to be honest. He actually grows in front of your eyes, and does confronts his own weaknesses, man - in a difficult and troublesome way, but he does.

That's... quite literally, not something you see everyday. I love it.

Yes, Suba does grow, but before he does, he spent 20 episodes leaving a bitter taste to his character.

And no OST awards for Delta!!?? Wuh!?

uh. Idk the Delta OST was... not good. The songs are one thing, they were okay to generic meh if you look at other stuff. And like, the OST itself wasn't bad, but it really did nothing to stand out. You could tell Kanno wasn't in on this. I can't remember a single tune from the BGM, and I sometimes end up humming the most mediocre stuff.
Btw I don't really care how NT readers/Japanese fans felt. They are the primary audience, but they also hype up stuff like insertanythingKyoAni here so... uhh. Whatev.

You might not care. The producers and sponsors, tho, they certainly do.
And, if the sales continue as they seem to be doing... You would actually be in the minority, mate. At least, in what may concern them.

Being in the minority does not make one automatically wrong. Lots of viewers like shitfests like SAO, as I like to remind people. ^^

mmm, the winner of that list is Kabaneri. And Ikoma got the second place. There's something highly wrong in those results.

At least Log Horizon explains why things are happening, instead of breaking its own rules all willy-nilly.
