Don't ya just hate that. Its getting so cliche these days. I mean, here is the hero, villain in the hero's hands, villain's life and death determined by the hero. But no, instead of swift justice, we the audience must go through the obligatory one-liners, pseudo-philosophical discussions, and reason-you-suck speech only to give the villain possible time to retaliate.
