Name: Rokan Cloudancer
Species: Korvan (Plural; Kora)
Hair Color: White feathers.
Appearence: Humanoid in shape, like all kora. Has scaly, taloned legs like those of a bird. Wide, fanning tail-feathers jut out from his rear. Has a narrowed, feathered head like that of a bird, with prominent dark eyes and a powerful beak that curves towards the tip. Tufts of feathers lie flat above his eyes but raise when angry or scared. Each narrow arm ands in three taloned fingers and a thumb. Under his arms sprout many feathers, resembling a wing when fully stretched.
History: The Korvan race, which are usually incredibly superstitous, have a belief that when a hatchling comes into this world with white feathers instead of the usual korvan black, the chick will grow into a great hero whose deeds will be told for many years to come. And when Rokan was hatched with beautiful white feathers, his tribe soon went into an uproar among the chick was taken away to be raised apart from normal korvan children. After his flight feathers fledged, he soon became the best flier in his tribe, even more so then the elders who had been flying twice as long. They soon gave him the title, "Cloud Dancer." But Rokan, who saw himself as no different from the other kora, was resentful at being hero-worshipped by his tribe, and being fawned upon by the elders. He had never even had a real friend. Convinced his tribe would be better off without them puring all their resources into raising one individual korvan, Rokan flew off one night, planning on never returning. But several weeks later, one of the elders, a grizzled old korvan by the name of Tok, found Rokan. Tok had fatal injuries and could barely fly. He explained to Rokan that a horde of ratlike people emerged from the bowels of the mountain where the kora tribe roosted, using the cover of night to lauunch a suprise attack. Every single korvan present was either slaughtered or had their wings bound and were carried away. Before his wounds claimed his life, Tok cursed and blamed Rokan, saying that had their hero been there, this tragedy would have never happened. This has turned the once merely unhappy korvan into a bitter, resentful, spite-filled individual who is full of sorrow and anger.
Weapons: Rokan has an affinity for subtle wind magic, which he usually uses to aid his already impressive flying ability. He can only carry extremly light objects while flyng, so he prefers to fight using his own talons and beak.
