When I was platooning, I saw that Sumeragi likes to go forward and get easily shot up. But then I tried this with somewhat faster tanks (under the influence of fast-paced music) and found that there is merit to this tactic.

You know, I have to agree with you on some maps this being the best method to win. A lot of times the tanks just sit around, not coordinating and when the enemy show up with numerical superiority, we were often too slow to reinforce.
That, and I actually wanted to see a battle where both oppositions would reenact the infamous Battle of Kursk
Now, I have been getting consistently the STEEL WALL award for my Tiger. I mean, thats not necessarily a bad thing (extra XP always help), because its historically valid. In terms of gameplay though, its kind of odd because my Tiger is supposed to be a sniper unit, with less-than-desirable frontal armor. I'd end each battle with about 1/10 of my total HP left
. Still, the Tiger marches on
