Tough choices this time around.

I like the design of the girl. Her face is good and the detail in her eyes, as light as it is, is great. There's some awkwardness on her lower left leg, and I feel there is not enough contrast between light and dark values. Regardless, this is a wonderful entry.

This has good use of perspective, and the design element is pretty good. I like the confidence you have in the line work for the robot. I think the red of the girls bodysuit is a bit strong, because of the bright colors for the Robot, the focal point for the image is lost. In this case is the girl the primary focal point, or the robot? Other than that minor nitpick, this is a great entry.

Good design for a power suit and it's also an interesting color choice. Watch the placement of your feet though. The suit's left leg is longer than the right. Good job!
Evil Rick
Good design and setting. I like the elements for this, the hero triumphant over the villain. The city seems too small though unless this a giant robot, then it's okay. Also the pose of the left leg feels flat to me. Other than that, great job!
Nozomi Vamp
Great concept! It's pretty funny. Watch your perspective though as it feels as if he's sitting on a line and not a cart. Good job!

Interesting take on the characters. The gray-scale shading is good but could use a little more contrast between light and dark values. Great work!

I really like the design of the robot. It has that 'old school' feel to it (ex.
Metropolis) that I really enjoy. I wish the completed version were done in time as it would have been a very strong contender. Very cool entry!

I appreciate the comments on my entry. I originally had planed for some more elements to try and help tell the story for the image but time can be a cruel mistress. So the confusion is perfectly understandable and should rightly be reflected in the scores.
My main inspiration for the image was a
maternity t-shirt I saw in a Think Geek catalog at work that I though was pretty funny. Which in turn made me remember the films
Armitage III and
Children of Men and the idea was firmly cemented in my head.
