Ack, yes, and the brokers are always coming up with new things to change the figures at the last minute (this oil proration, that home inspection fee, and what about the water test...

) and if it's not them it's the lender waiting until the very, very last minute to deliver the loan funds (if we're lucky and they don't wait until it's the next day...) or taking two hours, a wad of e-mails, and a phone call to the closer's supervisor to approve the packet of documents they insist be faxed back to them for review before they authorize disbursement...

One local lender, meanwhile, requests post-closing corrections so often that I'm not sure why they even bother to have a pre-closing document review process...

Also picked up my pencil and squishy-blu-tack-like eraser (what the heck do you call them anyway?) again, so hopefully in a few weeks I'll be back on the GrimGrimoire track. Have a huge backlog of ideas to flush out though XD

Meanwhile, this post was basically the last thing I read on the 'Net last night and capped off a good day* with a huge surge of the happys.

I always look forward to seeing whatever you do in whatever fandom, but to have it be in the woefully underrepresented
GrimGrimoire is always especially wonderful.
*It was Labor Day here in the U.S., so I got a day off to sleep in, too!
