I didn't either, but I'm not surprised about it being so at all. And if someone can find filters for stupidity, I'd happily kiss them and pay for that. Not that you can get away from stupidity even in RL. I just got into (essentially) an argument with my Canadian Politics professor regarding just how utterly moronic the Canadian electoral system is, after she literally snarked at the class "Good luck trying to change it.", and she simply answered that there were benefits to simplicity and that the system worked for Canada even if it's entirely unfair that 70% of the population gets saddled with a fat imbecile that we didn't want as the Prime Minister. GOD!

@yui: Seriously? Tumblr = porn everywhere was the one thing that I'd heard about the place before RadiantBeam and Moczo got blogs there and I started poking around for RWBY stuff. I'd avoided it before them specifically because of that fact.

@D.1: ...About half an hour ago, I put something in one of my emails to you (which probably won't be completed until tomorrow) encouraging you to put a little more effort into your Canadian Politics class. Please feel free to ignore it, as I now understand that you are spending all your allotted energy for that class on restraining yourself from nailing your professor in the face with a book. That's a specious, sound-bite answer that I'd expect from a government minister or industry rep trying to sleaze past a difficult question on Marketplace (speaking of good things from Canada; I like that show!).

(That said, she's probably right about it being ridiculously difficult to change; don't get me started on the Electoral College in the U.S.)

Also, politicians who get elected by the current system know damn well they need to make it impossible to change so they can keep their jobs.

Love the new Revy pic on your tumblr, yui! I especially like the fact that I didn't scroll down to look at the actual text at first, because I was trying to figure out who it was (or if it was an OC), and I got it from the look in (and of) her eyes. That's pretty darned impressive of you, being able to get that so perfect that I could recognize the character from that alone without color, setting, or context.

In my mind this is in colour, please mentally adjust as appropriate. I spent forever on the background of the first panel, but you can hardly see it =_=;;

I have now ventured into The tumblr to see this wonderful pic, and I agree with Dezo, yui. Your Revy is awesome! Seriously, the jacket is great, the gun is beautiful, and her expression is pure and undiluted Revy. Most definitely one of your best works.

That looks amazing! I love the translucent angels, and Amoretta...Amoretta is gorgeous as a personification of the Almighty's Holy Wrath. There are no words to describe just how awesome it all is. I think the third and fifth panels are the best, because in III you can't see her expression and in V there seems to be a sadness to her as she says that humans have forgotten the good that God had given to them. Gah! I wish I were better at this, but all my praise goes to you, yui, for this drawing!

HOLY SH*T!!! *grabs yui's hands and does a spinning happy dance* SO BEAUTIFUL!!! So epic! I really like how you chose not to show Lillet or anything of the ruined wedding in this, other than the hints in Amoretta's dress. I'm not sure why I like it better ambiguous, but I do .

Is there any way you'll end up doing a version in colour? I think it's gorgeous already in B&W, and it's definitely haunting this way, but a colour version could be cool *puppy eyes*

And man, I am very flattered and humbled that you drew such an awesome picture for what was a bit of a gag piece from me .

@Sora: Thanks Drawing Revy in all her glorious Revy-ness was a release. Can I even say that in English? I just love the distinctively feral Hiroe Rei style to bits.

And YES! Coincidentally panel III is my favourite, followed by panel V. I imagined Amoretta taking a moment in III before answering, and in V her shoulders kind of signal a weary resignation of sorts. As to her actual facial expression when she utters those last words ... I leave that to the reader

I didn't do the shading with colour in mind so I'd literally have to redo the shading and effects. Sorry *scritches puppy chin*

Hahaha well there was also some influence from the BetrayerS doujin. But deathy and I clearly share similar designs for Hayate.

I don't really like how Weisse's face turned out... but as usual, no time to fix This one can be blamed on RadiantBeam.

Really? I like Weiss's face a lot (better, in fact, than Yang's, as it fits perfectly with Weiss's personality, while Yang seems to have three basic modes, none of which fit her expression: "Big-ass gleeful happy," "I'm worried about you," and "Imma rip something's face off!" So Yang's more of a "the scene needs context" face while Weiss is, well, Weiss. Only problem with Weiss is that you can't see her scar, but that's because with the right side of her face forward and her hair the way it is her scar would be hidden so it shouldn't be visible, so that's not actually a problem, if that makes any sense?)

Also, I want those gloves for Tarma. She's very Yangy.

I was going for neutral happy for Yang coz she's just kinda like "hmm, so you decided to clean me up? How's that workin' for ya babe? *unbuttons shirt a little more*"

Although now that I look at Weiss again, it's not as bad as I initially thought. I have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to drawing characters facing right - I don't see the problems until I flip it horizontally (soooo annoying but I literally cannot see it).

Blonde, violet-eyed anime girls with long fluffy hair are similar? That said, that level of intense rage in her expression seems more Yang than Lillet to me.
