Luke's character getting butchered is my second big gripe. But the hyperspace thing bugs me more, because it is not presented as if it were something new.

See, they could have done something to indicate that there was an abnormality with the hyperspace drive, so that they could make this work. But no... the ship is pointed at the the Supremacy and even that clown Hux and his lackey get that a hyperspace ramming attack is incoming. So it's a tactic which is known... which makes no fucking sense because of all the implications I already went on about in the last days.

In another splendid news, Bright is getting a sequel!

Excellent! Although I already knew that, since I've been looking at reviews who were largely sympathetic to the movie and hence they all mentioned the sequel.

At least they got rid of the psychopath writer? Oh God... I'm actually praising them for that?

Well, don't take this the wrong way (I'm not slighting you, man), but I don't really care, actually.
Sometimes, your writing can reflect your life experiences and shit, and be better for it, much better... Other times you're a piece of shit sleazeball, like Max Landis, who happens to have a famous dad that bails him out every single time he fucks up bad!

He's a fucking psycho, IMHO, and there's been stories about him for a really long time.
Now, he's even been accused publicly of sexual harassment and, maybe, this time it'll stick?
I dunno, the guy is not right in the head - and I don't say that lightly of anyone, actually.

"Meh, I can separate an art from its creator"......is what I would like to say, but tbh, if the artist did some terrible things to me, my family or my good friends, I'd despise his works too no matter how good they are.

And speaking of movies with sexual-offense-accused person behind them, have you guys watched Jeepers Creepers 3? I think it's pretty entertaining.

... Aside from a Han Solo movie that no one asked for, apparently there will be an Obi-Wan standalone.

... sigh...

Although there are reports of a troubled production, I am quite looking forward to those. I could do with two solid adventure movies in the Star Wars universe. Certainly looking more forward to it after the mess TLJ left. Of course I got new reservations now, but we'll see what they'll do with it.

I'm so looking forward to watching that movie, I can't even disguise my excitement! They also nabbed Best Score, for Alexandre Desplat. Pretty nice.

In the meantime, his Trollhunters series (and soon to be universe) on Netflix keeps me and my daughter satiated, for the time being. That thing is AWESOME!

That series is awesome. And the fact that we're not only getting more, but new ones in the "universe" is even more awesome, indeed!

I actually made fun of my partner when he started watching it, mostly because I'd been really upset at Del Toro at the time for making The Strain tv show in years prior. Eventually I gave it a go and yeah...it's like the childrens' dreamworks game of thrones LOL i really can't handle some of these deaths sob

Story is top notch. Characters are all great. Animation is hella good for a serial dreamworks and world building/concept work is so interesting all around. I really love the villain designs too just- I really love it.

Also Mind Hunters is pretty good too. Has a few iffy moments but overall waiting for Season 2.

OH and watched Recent season of Black Mirror....I don't enjoy it as much as I did all the previous seasons which is a shame.

Lastly cleared BBC Sherlock finally- Enjoyed the whole thing. can totally understand why gross tumblr fans exist for this. It also single handedly ruined any interest I might have had in watching Elementary. Literally saw one episode, couldn't finish it and gave up even if Lucy Liu is a vampire. That lady just doesn't age.

Movie wise I watched Jumanji and Jack Black is best girl.
