Deadpool soon to break $500 million. This film was made with less budget than the first X-Men, but has beaten nearly every single X-Men film save For Days of Future Past at the box office. This is a gem, most truthfully.

I bet a lot of suits at Fox are very surprised. And, of course, are thinking "How can we clone this movie a thousand times?" ^^

Which is what I am afraid of. Even the fattest cow can be milked dry before being processed for beef. Rumor had it that Wolverine 3 woll be R. Well, dont't bother with ratings, just make a movie as it was intended.
Ah, and hopefully we get a Captn Murica/Iron Man/Deadpool crossover, aye?

I'll be happy already if we get Cable in the next DP movie.

I know right? But it'd be so much fun seeing DP diss Capt'n Murica, Iron Man and Wolfie on the big screen!!

Quite incredible the intake is. But your right, Fox will more than likely overspend, and overdo the next movie and probably rush it into production before its ready, because you know...

Fortunately, the production team has come out and stated that Deadpool doesn't need an overwhelming budget, just 'enough' to work with. Basically, Fox let the production team do what they wanted as an experiment with Deadpool, lets hope Fox continue the trend with the next movie.
Because Freedom is a beautiful thing.

Cannot wait for D-Pool to surpass the box office that is X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now, who is a better Cable? Stephen Lang or Dolph Lundgren?

Stephen Lang is a better actor, so...

C'mon, Lundgren speaks six or seven different languages... Give the guy a break.

I don't think Lang really is a better actor. Still, both would be fine. Lundgren looks pretty damn wasted, though, while Lang still is on the top of his game.

Deadpool might just breach the $700m mark at this point. Bryan Singer just got hammered by a debut director...

And a good thing, too. I will say, the trailers for X-Men: Apocalypse have looked really wretchedly bad, with every super hero movie cliché in them and no humor at all. We'll see if the actual movie is different.

One of the problems with X-Men movie series is that, like most super hero flicks out there these days, its just generally too grim. Deadpool OTOH, reminded us the positive side of being an individual with super powers.
Ironically, super heroes were once created as a form of escape. These days, being 'super' seems like more of a burden than anything else.

Well for sure there will probably be all nity and gritty in Superman vs Batman, and plenty of city destruction. Heck even most of Marvel cinematic universe have enough sense to put some humor in it. Ant Man was a good example of that. Michael Pena's role of "I know a guy who knows a girl who..." was brilliant.

The difference is between the Marvel movies put out by Marvel itself and then the ones put out by Fox. And of course the DC ones are all grit and grimness. In the grim darkness of Gotham City, there is only war, y'know.

C'mon... I'm only watching Apocalypse because of Psylocke.

Psylocke is a very popular X-Man character in Japan for some reason. Even if most people cannot identify what series she hailed from.
And this is in a country where you cannot find American comicbooks within ten square kilometers.
Speaking of Batman, people probably wouldn't believe it used to be a semi-comedy until Tim Burton's 1989 version. Gotham, or really New York, used to be cheerfully bright and sunny in the origonal, ya know.
