Alright, we gotta agree to disagree what a "beta" is supposed to be. The game is feature complete, it has some bugs (again, talking about the PC version, here), but is completely playable with all its included content. That's a complete game for me.

As for the cut content you mentioned, of course I'd have preferred to have more stuff included, including the customizable apartment. But, since I returned there about six times in the 88 hour run, I can understand why they cut that feature, since it wouldn't have added much to the game.

Honestly, I'm more upset that your stashes are actually separated from each other (apartment and car and, I think, the second apartment as well). I really got apprehensive that I had accidentally sold the Wolf School jacket, when I just had stashed it in the car.

Also, there are a lot of exploits in the game, which I avoided. I'd hope for them to fix those as well.

I was imagining a dwelling where I can invite people to populate it, and have some ready-to-assemble AI-allies joining me on my numerous missions.

Then again, I very much wanted to be a fixer in the game, or even part of the NCPD, but those professions were denied to me.

Yeah, not the story for that. This ain't the Night City simulator, after all.

Could still be NCPD. Then I have an excuse to create Major Kusanagi.

Eh, maybe in part two. But this was Johnny Silverhands story, V was just along for the ride. So of course they went the rebel path.

Thinking about it, they really went full "and here are all the kewl NPC's from the game!" route, which is something I specifically try to avoid in any RPG I am the GM of, since it takes the spotlight away from the players. Of course I never could do them as much justice as they did and V was firmly the co-protagonist with Johnny.

So my new favorite car is the Type-66 "Cthulhu".



Though while browsing for cars to shop, I was hoping to get something with an operable trunk, so I made the obvious choice, I bought a Chevillon Emperor 620 Ragnar. With utter excitement and full of glee, I went to the rear attempting to open the trunk only to notice that... it doesn't have one.

I promptly shot the salesperson.

Yeah, that's a muscle car, alright. I never got it, because all the guides said it handles terribly.

The guides aren't wrong, but I can really appreciate the aesthetics, and it's mostly for that reason.

Otherwise, it's a shit car to actually drive.

Well, back to World of Warcraft for the moment, although I also am longing to start a new game in Stellaris. I want to wait out the changes the next patch brings, though. I guess I really should find time to play the Sisters of Twilight in TW:WH2.

Reddit just released (then promptly deleted) a leak regarding Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.0 to be released in June. Source say this may be a huge update similar to an act of re-releasing the game. Fingers crossed for that upcoming possibility. Sooner the better.

They need to fix the companion system. I've went through hell to get Panam, and after all my effort, I can't even call upon her to assist in my many gigs until the very last mission. Yeesh.

On another hand, I picked up Star Wars: Squadrons, took out my old Microsoft Sidewinder I've not touched for the last 15 years, dust it off, and connected its Gen 1 USB to my PC.

And it still works!

Also urm... on a side note, US CRACKS (that music group in Cyberpunk) has some really... er... peculiar lyric choices...

Well, they are supposed to subversively criticise their own crass commercialism, which was foisted on them by their overlord corporation who manages them.

And I don't know if whatever that was on Reddit was a leak or some fan-fiction, but if CD Projekt Red wants to enhance this already in many regards fantastic game, I'd be all for it. Their free DLCs will already do that and the two paid DLCs they have planned will do that as well.

They need to put more emphasis on V as opposed to Johnny. What's V's story?

Also to they need to create events post-main story. Just because one story is over doesn't mean life ends, ya know.

V wants to be a legendary mercenary and he wants to survive the biochip overwriting his brain with Johnny. In the different ending he gets some or none of those things he wants.

Dude, you and I both know this is mostly Johnny's story.

Once you solve Johnny's mystery, it's the end of V as we know it.

Elder Scroll doesn't end when the primary quest is complete. The story continues until you decide to end it. Cyberpunk is more ambitious than that.

Oh, it's definitely more Johnny's story, but for me it was as well about giving V a future to look forward. Which I got to do with the nomad ending. The other two endings are a whole lot less satisfying from the viewpoint of V.

Yeah, but that's the thing, I don't want the story to just end with Johnny's gig solved and imagine a uncertain future.

I just wanna ponpon Panam.

I imagine there's a lot more of "sexy tank driving" going on we don't get to see.

I hope the first big DLC expands on the nomad ending, too!

I have discovered there are less than half-dozen serviceable joytoys in Night City.
