I recently noticed that older animes' art styles, for the most part, have more human like characters compared to new anime art, like sword art online. I'm not trying be a deterrent to anyone who has not seen it yet, but compare the body ratios of SAO to The Great Teacher Onizuka.
For those that don't like the current art style 1999 and older should have more human-like art styles.
