Caught the demos yesterday, good stuff. Still not quite sure how to take Anzu's ridiculously hyper song though. xD

Anzu's song is actually quite good when I listened to it for several times In fact, all the songs for this new generation of IM@S are all quite good o.o; Though I still don't like DOKIDOKI rhythm for some reasons >_>;

Hmm ... well, I finished listening to the Cinderella albums last night. Hmm. I agree that Anzu's song was super hyper ... Afterwards I had an image of her specializing in rave for some reason.

I guess of all the ones I listened to I liked the fourth one the best ... let's see, that would be the one by Kaede Takagaki titled "Koi Kaze".

In other news, I finally went through all the iM@S OST's and extracted all the audio files I liked the best and put them on my mp3 player.

Hrm ... dl'd a huge collection of mp3 iM@S music ... a little over 28gb. Man. Whoulda thought there was so much out there?

Well there's more coming. They just announced series 2 of the Cinderella Girls CDs. Currently two of the girls are announced, more to be announced each week. The first two are Kanzaki Ranko and Maekawa Miku, it isnt revealed yet who the VAs will be though.

Also finally got my CD of Futaba Anzu. Gotta say its amazing how much you can learn about the character from one song. "Anzu no Uta" literally meaning "Anzu's song", is very catchy.

Now she's someone I'd like to see together with Yayoi.

Anyone catch the Perfect Idol 04 album? That oddly titled "Slapp Happy" track is epically funkadelic and the Bossa Nova remixes are pretty good as well. Why are the Neo Acoustic mixes the only ones I'm 100% willing to keep, damn it?

Still, the atmosphere of this CD is awesome. It's like...Beach Boys meets piano bar music; I always love bossa nova.

I completely forgot that the Perfect Idol albums existed. I don't know what's on them.

Pretty good music is the answer. For me they always seem to have one original track that is really awesome, then some mediocre to decent at best remixes of older songs. I really did like the entire Perfect Idol 03 album's Neo Acoustic remixes, but the others I never bothered to keep.

They announced idol#3 for part 2 of the Cinderella Girl CD series, Moroboshi Kirari~!!

...man, now that I see her profile...she's pretty big at 182cm...

...damn it guys, I never thought this jazz remix would work well with Arcadia, but it's actually pretty awesome

Yeah, Bossa Nova is a genre that fits in nicely with a lot of other genres, like jazz and blues.

As for more good news on the music front:
- Namassuka? SPECIAL 01 is being released July 4, with "Kyun! Vampire Girl", new songs, etc.

- Cinderella MASTER 006-010 are being released August 8th. The triple digits suggest that they'll be making an album for every single new girl, and maybe even the originals.

So we're looking at 100+ new VAs eh?

I wonder if they're going to bring in any already popular VAs? Not that there's anything wrong with some fresh faces either.

*sigh* Haa...so the 7th Anniversary of iM@S is just around the corner *wishes to have been able to go to the concert* orz

...I wonder if they'll have a sale on the DLC for the games?

With the quality of the ones already released, I have no worries whichever way they go.

And now now, take it easy, I gotta find the damn game first! I'm gonna try and find it at Anime Expo this June/July, and if not I can hopefully find it somewhere in LA or Las Vegas.

@papermario13689: if a used/import games seller is in the dealer's room at a large con, you have an excellent chance of scoring it (albeit marked up). I picked up Dearly Stars last year, then realized it wouldn't play enjoyably without a translation. -_- A few years before that, I passed up on the PSP games from the same vendor because I was waiting for the eventual price drop.

Well I'd assume at the very least we'll see CDs of the popular characters. Personally I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Hikaru Nanjo and Sana Miyoshi.

I just wanna hear what kind of song they'd make for a tokusatsu mania and a gamer girl.

And yes, it must be hell for the songwriters. But then again think of how the character designer(s) must have felt when iM@S:CG started up. While on topic of character design, did Annindoufu-sensei do all the illustrations?

@JohnNiles: Thanks, I'll definitely keep a lookout, no matter what.

@shinku: If they had less than 100 planned, I don't think we'd see 000 digits, or at least I hope that's why. As for the tokusatsu maniac, how about a triumphant song like a theme song? And the gamer one is easy- an 8-bit infused tune! Lots of songs have done this before, even when it doesn't apply directly to gamer characters.

Shimamura Uzuki: Oohashi Ayaka
Jougasaki Mika: Kamura/Kemura Haruka (I'm unsure how its read...damn kanji, multiple ways to read a single character...plus she has no Wiki page like the rest... I also wanna say that it might be "Sumimura" as the kanji character looks almost identical)
