Ha ha ha, well, I think Shirley would recognize Lelouch's faults, but I think she would help to try to change him and help him move past it. But as for her reaction to the actual discussions...well, somehow I don't think she'd be all that keen on people talking badly about her precious Lulu.

Yeah, Shirley would side with Lelouch all the way.

Well yeah. I certainly don't think she would denounce or hate him, but as I said before, I think she would try help him become a better person. I don't think she would just blindly side with him and be okay with whatever he did. Love doesn't work that way.

Yeah, if Lelouch has any problems Shirley would help him out and support him if he made the right choices. And isn't a bit strange that Shirley was the only one that knew Lelouch was Zero in Ashford and Rivalz didn't have a clue,

Uh, no not really. Shirley found out Lelouch was Zero due to a series of events that started with Villetta implying to her that Lelouch might be Zero. Shirley didn't even know for sure until she was about to shoot him and his mask fell off. So yeah, it's really not that strange. It's not like she found out through instinct or investigation.

Yeah thanks, I thought that maybe Rivalz would find out or atleast Milly but your right, it started with Villeta telling her that Lelouch was linked to terrorist.

Yeah, to be honest I don't even remember that scene of Villetta telling her about it, but apparently it happened But yeah, Lelouch is pretty good about keeping secrets, even from his Ashford friends.

I remember it. The two of them were in a car, with Villetta showing Shirley a picture of a boy that may be linked to the terrorists. A picture that happened to be of Lelouch.

Yeah, but if Villeta hadn't involved Shirley in identifying Zero, Shirley would have probably lived in both series.

@Nobodyman: Oh right sorry about that. And I wanted to ask, when Lelouch used his geass on Shirley to make her live, couldn't she have survived in a way. I know it was too late but...

Hmm, not really. She had already lost a large amount of blood and was losing more by the second. In fact, what's really disturbing is that after Lelouch geasses her you may notice that her wound start to poor out blood even faster, indicating that his geass did work in a way, forcing her body to pump more blood, but it's actually only serving to make her die faster. Well...it's a possibility that's been considered anyway.

Had her wound been bound or pressed on in some way, it may have helped prolong her life when the Geass took effect. One question is, however, would she have let him? She didn't let him call for help, after all...

I think in a way Shirley wanted to die, but if she would have let Lelouch call for help she would have survived.

I don't know. I think Shirley knew that she was going to die and she just wanted to spend her final moments alone with Lelouch. She didn't want Lelouch bothering with a futile effort.

Yeah, Shirley chose to spend her final moments with Lelouch instead of living, I felt bad that her mother lost her daughter and husband...that was one of the saddest episodes.

What do you mean instead of living? As I said, I don't really think there was anything that could have saved Shirley at that point, hence why she stopped Lelouch from calling for help. But yeah, I do feel really sorry for Shirley's mother. In a way, I feel more sorry for her than Shirley herself.

I meant in a way she could have survived if help would have reached her in time or she could have let Lelouch call for help even if she wasn't going to make it. Wouldn't it have been better if Shirley had reached a hospital even if she wasn't going to survive? I thought that way everyone would atleast know that she was shot and didn't commit suicide.

Well, Shirley was only alive for about 2 or 3 minutes after Lelouch reached her. I doubt help coudl have made it in that short of time and even if it did I doubt even they could have done anything to help. And even if they were to take her to a hospital that could have done something she probably would've died on the way there. As I said, she wanted to spend her final moments alone with Lelouch.

Of course, I'm not a doctor, so I could be wrong, but Shirley was in pretty rough shape.

Oh, and how exactly would they know that she didn't commit suicide if they had reached her before she died? In the end, I think that would have been more problematic anyway.

Yeah but it's kinda sad for her friends and mother to know that she commited suicide, especially for her mother. I'm suprised to see that she's still strong despite what happened to her family, but yeah your right, I truly didn't consider the possibility of Shirley dying on the way though.
