The "deaths" thing. I decided that I would shut up about everything, because I believe the movie has a better impact if you go in without any knowledge.

Alright, sorry. I'll tag it. But believe me when I said that reading my comments won't really ruin your experience watching the movie unless you're in denial about knowing what the movie will give you. It's that obvious, especially if you follow the mainstream media.

Yes, if you try to avoid spoilers you can go into the movie without all those pre-expectations you obviously had. I did.

I don't care about knowing there are deaths in the movie. If you don't tell me who dies, I'm okay with it. But you did straight out kinda spoil a whole climatic scene, by telling me who was or wasn't in it, back there.

That was pretty bad, IMHO.
But it's okay, I'll just stay clear from here until I see the movie.

If it's the the Hulk comment that I made, believe me, you know very little by reading my comment. I was only pointing out the false Hulk advertisement done by the trailer which is only a small part of the climax. You'll get it when you watch the movie.

Oh gah... they are still churning out The Walking Dead? I am so bored of that franchise its amazing to find it lasted as long as it did.

First season, interesting. Second season, pretty good. Third season... ... ... ... ... zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

All the while Ash vs the Evil Dead gets a premature end. Pffffft.

Hm, I saw the first two episodes of Lucifer recently. Count me as not being overly impressed. That show seems to be made for overtly jaded internet reviewers.

Lucifer ended up being a repetition exercise for two entire seasons. By the third season, I just had to quit, because it felt like groundhogs day without breakthroughs, and it got way, wayyy too soapy.

I attempted to secure an audience with The Avengers today, but was ultimately denied entry. Apparently, the showtimes from 8am to 12pm are ALL BOOKED.

Next weekend, then.

Anyway, Into the Badlands season three has started. I've yet to see the first episode, but I highly anticipate it already.

Oh yea, I booked my Avengers tickets about a month ago to see last night. Pretty well all sold out showing. It was great, and pretty well the discussion of the dinner table with my friends. On to Deadpool!

Can't, I wake up between 5 ~ 6AM for work.

And I suppose you work too long to catch an afternoon showing. Oh, well.

I'd probably buy the ticket for next weekend already if I were you.

I actually watched it during the weekdays. I didn't manage to catch the premiere but managed to get the ticket for the day after on Thursday at 8.45 PM. I was lucky that wifey was in another town so I can freely go by myself no matter how late

So, yeah, it seems Infinity War is set to become the most profitable movie of all time. Or at least it had the best starting weekend of all time, both in the US and internationally as well.

Move over, Star Wars. Funnily enough, Infinity War did the Star Wars space thing better than the latest Star Wars movies.

^ Speaking of Marvel's space, I'm still confused about how everyone can breathe in various planets without the help of respiratory tools or breathing apparatus at all, especially for the human characters. To me, that is just too convenient for non-Star Wars or non-Star Trek movies.

And every (intelligent) alien speaks very good American English somehow, which is jarring considering the Wakandans (who are Earthlings) have thick accent, not to mention the millions of non-English-speaking people on Earth .

These are some of your hang-ups? Not the crazy powers, all the aliens, that one guy who can transform into a hulking green rage beast, or the talking raccoon?

Not all planets have breathable air, I guess, since Star-Lord had to use his mask most of the time in the very opening sequence of Guardians of the Galaxy, right? But, hey, space-movie-science, what do I know? Also, he's part-alien. Or, maybe he only uses it for show. I'm really guessing, here.

Also, that the various characters can all understand each other? One of the GotG most (in)famous easter eggs is that they all have some kind of translator implant - it was shown in the scanners at the Nova Corps facility, when they got arrested. It seems kind of easy to surmise that this technology would be easily replicable.

Crazy powers and talking animals and talking aliens are bread and butter of superhero movies, but I always have this pet peeve about the language barriers. And no, that so-called translator implant can't be used as a broad stroke that wave away the convenience in which every alien speaks great American English especially when the movie never explains it. You think Thanos uses that implant when he speaks to Tony in AIW? I don't think so. Thanos just uses plain old English just like his Black Order do. And you'd be surprised how Tony, Stephen & Peter can easily breathe in a destroyed planet along with the Guardians (and no, those are not spoilers since it's in the trailer).
