Most of the shows that I follow this season end their cour pretty well.
Bookworm is really good,
Chihayafuru is as great as ever,
Blade of the Immortal has been a very joyfully interesting flawed adaptation, and
No Guns Life is still a fun throwback to the 90s anime.
Still, the one thing that genuinely surprised me this season is
Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise (or RR for short). This show is much better than it has any right to be. Coming off from the severely underwhelming first season of GBD, ReRise had a really tough job of pulling the Build fans back into the fold by introducing brand new batch of well-written flawed protags that people care about and the show surprisingly pulled it off.
RR is a slowburn that emphasize on the struggle of the protags like
Grimgar until they can finally get their act together and become better people. The show is a split-cour and ended on a cliffhanger, and what a cliffhanger that was. I won't spoil it in case people who read this want to give the show a try. Suffice to say, I'm pleasantly surprised and can't wait to watch the second cour in April. The Build series has become great again.
Oh, and last but not least,
Iruma-kun is a simple delight. I don't need to say more. This compilation of Clara Valac's screentime is a good representation of the screwball comedy in the show:
