Well...that Broncos-Bills game...that just made things even more complicated in the AFC. Buffalo are seriously in danger of not even making the playoffs.

Well, after today, at least my take on the NFC was pretty accurate. If the season ended today, I was exactly right about 6 out of 7 teams. The only one I'm wrong about at present is New Orleans because Atlanta's offense is bewildering. AFC, yeah...AFC North being a full powerhouse and Rodgers going down Week 1 really threw all my predictions for then out of whack. Wasn't a good day for Cincinnati to lose. But a load of close games. Lions-Chargers was somehow an epic and the Lions prevailed right at the end. 49ers had one of the few blowout wins of the day although the Cowboys were expected to inflict one on the Giants. I never grow tired of the Patriots being near bottom. Guess it's time for the Cardinals to win a bit given Kyler Murray is back and desperate to not lose his job despite his contract.

I understand regarding WoW. From post-Cata, Legion was the only strong expansion, Battle For Azeroth was solid but heavily hindered by the Azerite system, Warlords of Draenor was a source of insane amounts of easy gold for free. Shadowlands is a dumpster fire that never happened. Dragonflight is barely better - I will never play either. So why does War Within interest me. I give you the following:

They're finally bringing core characters back and doing the right thing with them
The rivalry I want will happen
They're making an insane amount of positive changes and finally listened to players

I'm not sold on it yet but it's promising. Need to see actual gameplay, that it is fun and that it won't be too much of a time sink before I commit.

Once this saga of my ex-friend collecting his stuff is done (aside from whatever is in his room and not safe for 4 weeks...), I'll get back on anime. If today taught me anything, it's that I don't need to see games in full to get enough. It's nice to but takes up a heck of a lot of time and I don't want to be saddled with subscriptions.

So I've had to give a tenant 28 days notice to leave. He found bed bugs in his room and didn't let me know for nearly a week on top of trying to deal with it all himself when it's my house. Exterminator costing nearly 1.5k, earliest they could start was Monday. He's utterly crossed the line this time. Can't come back from this one. Also means I ain't got access to full broadcasts anymore but meh. Youtube will be enough.

Might be in an anime mood evenings this newly started weekend...maybe...

I did a mammoth viewing of 5 NFL games in full today. Miami v Kansas had one of the most bizarre botches to end the game but a very weird path to it. Kansas looked so dominant in the 1st half then Miami kind of did in the 2nd but not enough. Seattle v Baltimore was an utter massacre of trench warfare. Somehow, of all games...Tampa v Houston turned into an epic thanks to Stroud and his historic performance. Dallas v Philadelphia was as feisty and close as expected - and thankfully you prevailed. It would probably be nice to blow out a team but when you're 8-1...hard to complain. Buffalo-Cincinnati went as I hoped - close but Burrow prevailing. Getting through the short highlights of other games now. Has ticked past midnight so anime the coming next few evenings...Weekend ended up being damn busy with friends, house stuff, cooking and going for long walks 2 days in a row thanks to stellar weather. Also with the League of Legends worlds quarters being on 4 consecutive evenings and my time zone being very in line with Korea's which made for good live viewing. Has really distracted me from the Leafs being bleh for the last week after a good road trip. I have no idea how our defense got worse and the trades aren't working out at all. The core 4 having almost all of the goals 10 games in is horrendous. That said, the Sharks are on course to have the worst season in NHL history. They still haven't won a game 10 games in and have conceded 10 goals in each of their last 2 games.

Also, turns out it seems the World of Warcraft team has finally got it together by re-hiring Chris Metzen and listening to what the community has said for years. The announcement + cinematics for War Within and the Worldsoul trilogy of expansions and all the improvements...I might just return for War Within after 3 years of not playing. I'm down to 4 achieves to go in Shotgun King.

Friend came round on Sunday with manga order, three Code Geass plushies and a Renji Murata figure. He has to do night shifts for the next few months and have the threat of robots potentially taking his job. Tech friend got made redundant last week, other tech friends are also on edge. This era of technofeudalism has caused some rapid change and is skewing wages/value towards construction work, which just doesn't feel right one bit.

I'm behind on everything. Been catching up on sleep for the last week and just haven't been on the mood for anime during this week. Weekend, should finally be able to. But I was still watching KimiZero after 3 eps.

Some speculated most of the stuff you got will be traded to get someone to pair with Embiid. But really, 'The Process' whiffted on Fultz, Simmons and others with only Embiid prevailing. Letting Butler walk and paying Harris instead was also a major mistake - why would anyone want to retain Brown as a coach...But yeah, they're his orgs and going to be done his way. 49ers have a weak secondary and have for years. McDaniels being fired was so overdue but Adams is stuck with the Raiders.

The Rangers did it. Their 63-year legacy of failure is over. 50 years of no playoff series wins. The A-Rod contract that left them stuck. Getting mashed in the 2010 WS by the Giants, the 2011 WS two final strikes in Game 6 against the Cardinals getting blasted before Freese ripped their heart out, the dropped catch that allowed the As to win the division in 2012 to have them then obliterated by the Orioles, the 2013 four-base disaster against the Blue Jays. Wasting a ton of generational talent. Then of all people, Bruce Bochy, the architect of their demise in the 2010 WS, decides it is their time. And of all things, they never lose a game on the road through the entire playoffs. Literal road warriors. Flick aside the Rays, obliterate the over 100 wins Orioles, prevail against their state nemesis in the Astros, skin the Diamondbacks. 2 years after a 106-loss season and 1-year after a 96 loss season. This had the magic of the 2019 St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup. This is for the ages. In a year the Denver Nuggets and Vegas Golden Knights finally broke through, the Texas Rangers complete the trinity of first time champions. Doubt we'll see anything like that for a long time.

That was one utterly wild NFL day...

Cowboys utterly humiliate the Rams - that game was over within 15 minutes.
Bengals utterly stifle the 49ers - I really don't know why people want to doubt Burrow or that Bengals D. Particularly when Trent Williams and Deebo Samuel, utterly core 49ers pieces, were out.
Broncos finally beat the Chiefs for the first time in 8 years...After the last 1.5 years of the Broncos, the thought of the Chiefs not getting any TDs seems nigh impossible, yet...

Titans beat the Falcons because Will Levis has a dream debut.
Saints have a sudden surge to down the Colts.
Seahawks and Browns have an utter battle.

And your Eagles somehow endure an onslaught and inflict a greater one to prevail against the Commanders.

World Series is tied 1-1. There is no point trying to predict what happens there. That whole postseason was pure chaos.

Due to catching up with friends and doing a 6.5 day work week within 5 days last week, been tired as heck and the wrong mood for anime. Hoping the next two nights will allow me to watch some because League Worlds quarters start on Tuesday. 4 nights in a row that is the top priority.

Welp...somehow it's Rangers - Dbacks in the World Series...The slugging suddenly went cold for the Phillies. Darn.
