The reason why i don't like pride.. or i wrote 'プライドほどいらないものはない' is,
if i have a pride , i don't think my life can be good and i am free.
Pride can be difined as a good thing and bad thing at the same time in English i know , though Japanese uses プライドas only a meaning of self- esteem.And i use pride has both meanings.

If i have the good pride, 誇り、i try to cling to that and fear if i will lose it someday, and if i lose it , i will be in despair. i have the experience, so i am saying that.
About the bad pride, self-esteem, if i have that, i can be arrogant, and can look down on the people don't have the one i have the pride in , and can envy people have the greater one than one i have the pride in.
So, i think having pride isn't good. But, i soppose having intimacy in the thing i belong is different from having the pride.
So, if i want to be live freely, and be in a good condition to be fairly in daily life, i want to live without having pride in anything.

But i also thought the saying was somewhat extream, but the saying suited the emotion of mine at the time i wrote it , and i still think the saying is important for me to live.

Actually, people can make efforts to be in the better place to break the inferiority complex i think, but i don't need it to be better than others if i need to waste my time on such a thing, i think that is meaningless to me.

But i know that is my opinion, so everyone can live as they want to. ^-^
