I didn't mean "benefit" in that sense. When I said "redeemable," what I was wondering was if there was anything worthwhile about him; like his other opinions, his outlooks on life, etc. I wasn't thinking of physical looks, wealth, or anything like that.
Nothing is redeemable in my eyes after having stated what he has stated.

While I don't see how that person you mentioned could be worth talking to, the point I want to make is that people all have problems and opinions that are wrong (or at least they don't agree with yours), but you shouldn't stop talking with someone simply because of a single fault.
Therefore, it's probably not because of that single sentence that guy said that made you not want to have anything to do with him, but most likely a number of other reasons as well.
It's the sol reason. As I said, even if before saying that he would have been the perfect guy (he was not, but even if he was, it would have been the same), I would have reacted the same way.

In my book, there's wrong, and very wrong. The latter is unforgivable in my case, therefore not tolerable. You can see me as a harsh person if you want But that's how I am.

    Hello

I can't reply in the thread (go see why), then reply here

Is that the only reason why you stopped talking to him? Did he have anything redeemable in him that you may have benefited from, despite his statement about rape?
He could be the best looking man, richest who can give me millions, have a lot of good qualities, or a magician who can give anything i want ; there are terrible evil things I don't tolerate. I don't want to benefit anything from people who have such evil thoughts. I am not the kind of person who calculates that despite its terrible evil side, i could act as if it was not a problem, while trying to gain something. I would disgust myself from doing that.

I haven't read your essay yet as that it is rather long.. So, have your grades come back yet? Usually, when you write this type of essay, it will go one way or the other as in that you either get an A or a F.

Personally, I have learned quite a lot about the FLG through my studies. My politics professor gave rather provocative and offensive lectures but the guy actually supports human rights and also seem to sympathize the FLG but he seems to be an expert at wording things. I can almost say that he is my second most admirable person after Tsugumi Ohba, the mysterious author of Death Note, of course..

Code Geass has awesome character designs, lots of character development, a story pretty well-made with lots of creativity. Generally, this would actually be quite an impressive political mecha piece but as you pay attention to the credits roll. You do realize that about 40% of the crew are from PRC. Nothing surprising though as that PRC does have tons of money and investing money into stuff that proves to be beneficial to their government, there is no way they wouldn't do it.

If you can keep an open-mind attitude to the propaganda elements of the anime, you will actually find it quite interesting. More over, it is quite a good idea to watch the propaganda anime to understand their perspective to the point that you will be capable to counter it.

Since you are from the FLG, it is actually a good idea to understand what your enemies think. However, don't think of Code Geass as study material, it is actually quite a good mecha anime like the Gundam series.

Have you seen the anime Code Geass before? Check out these two maps:

As you can see, this definitely doesn't look right as that it implies China is the hero and that the United States is evil. What I am trying to point out is that the existence of PRC don't just affect you members of FLG but the world as a whole as that China has invested lots of money on propaganda and this is just one of the many forms they have adopted.

Although Code Geass has won multiple awards but the anime generally implies that Japan is bad, North America is evil, and that China has characteristics of a hero. Pretty strange, huh?
