IIRC Monad had to be done in one go since you start over from the 1st floor every time you exist. They might have changed that in Portable, though. Should be the best place for EXP. I don't recall having a hard time reaching level 99, it was more of a pain in P4.

David is in 2, and he mentions Chloe being dead or her living in New York with Max depending on your choices in 1. Incidentally, both David and Joyce survived the Pricefield ending so it's not as doom and gloom as the first game implied.

Was reading Chloe's entry on Wikipedia and it seems her fate and that or Arcadia Bay in LiS 2 is entirely dependent on the choice you made in the first game. I have no clue what the default is if you don't have a LiS 1 save though... maybe no mention at all?

What's consistent is that the NFL can't seem to find a balance especially inside of 2:00. Its either ticky tack calls that decide the outcome or egregious penalties ignored in the spirit of "letting them play". They want it both ways. I guess it is what it is but its not a league I care to assist with revenue in any way in the foreseeable future.

I've been laughing somewhat at the "NFL is scripted" jokes for the past few weeks but holy shit that final 2:00 was an embarrassment. I'll acknowledge that our DC kinda sucked at making adjustments but that went from an all time classic shootout to literal garbage. FIFA might be less corrupt at this point.

I guess there's always next year but things don't really go well for the designated 'heel' in wrestling so it feels like there's no reason to bother.

They definitely messed up in the end, but I can't hate the game. I had a lot of fun with the rewind mechanic which reminded me a lot of Prince of Persia the Sands of Time (I played it so much back then) and I was very invested in the story and making sure I got the best possible outcome. I absolutely love time travel stories, too. I don't think the ending would have been that much of a deal-breaker if the game didn't constantly advertise that your choices are very important when absolutely none of them matter. I have no idea what they were thinking.

I heard they're planning on making a TV series out of it and I think it'll work well in that medium.

I don't intend to play LiS2. Only played the first one in the first place because it was on PS Plus. Before the Storm is there too, but I don't feel like playing it, I doubt it would add anything of value since Chloe is the playable character and she didn't know Rachel's secrets. Having Rachel as the playable character would have had me more interested.

I was actually surprised the final choice was split 50/50. I thought more people would have chosen to save Arcadia Bay. In fact it was 52% in favor of Pricefield ending.

Finished Life is Strange. I loved it for the most part, but I have very mixed feelings about ending(s).

I'm sort of shocked by how much happened this NBA trade deadline, I was expecting things to be pretty subdued aside from maybe a Westbrook trade. Kyrie is nuts though and will find someway to screw the Mavs over but they haven't been relevant since Dirk so I guess they needed to take the chance. I haven't paid any real attention to the NHL this year at all.

I only watched a few highlights of the Pro Bowl but they had to do something with it. I always kinda thought they should have stuck with Hawaii since February is winter for us in the northern hemisphere. I've been obsessed with Super Bowl coverage as well as 49ers players who can't seem to stop being salty over the fact they're not in it. The bulletin board material is fierce. Just a few more days now...

P3 is going to be a ride until the end. Soon you too won't be able to hear Memories of You without bawling. I should probably check the mods and give it another playthrough soon... although I keep hearing about the remake. We'll see I suppose.
