Hmm, I'm not too sure either. I think you mean the list of book references listed at the end right? Then probably not too much, since the stories itself go over them pretty well. I didn't know most of them myself (old books are old!), but I still appreciate their worth just from reading. Though a slight background with regard to the authors' contributions to their respective literary field would be great (at least imo), and wouldn't require too much effort (2 sentences max?).

Thanks for picking up the series. I've heard great tales of your legendary translation speed, even if Biblia isn't your main project any contribution to the series' translation effort is great. If time doesn't allow (I'd imagine you are a busy person with so many good books out there), I personally think you should just do volume 1. I somehow don't think volume 2 and 3 will live up to to the (dare I say) epic conclusion to the last arc in volume 1. Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but I think (perhaps) your effort would be more appreciated on more series, like the Qシリーズ for example (笑; in that case though you would have to translate at least book 1 and 2 for obvious reasons. If seeing things through until the end is your style then, more respect for you!

On a completely off tangent note, if you happen to know any mystery series (at least 3 books?) of investigative nature with either logical or lateral deduction (I only consider suspense a bonus element) with female heroines, don't hesitate to let me know! I get a feeling you read more than I do. Sometimes I might not check the forum often but I will definitely be back once in a while!

That seems like a good idea. The work itself doesn't use too many obscure word, especially for someone on your level, but the research is the one that will took a lot of time considering most of the book referenced in the story is old Japanese classic. Sharing the work with a team will lighten your load a lot. GL on translating this great series ^_^. Spread the Shioriko love *_*(j/k)

Well, I personally searching around for info about the referenced book when I read the series, but me being a book lover(not enough to be called biblio mania though ) also play a part in it. Yea, I also was thinking of makng a teaser for the series back in xmas, but when I think about how much research must be done, I gave up lol

Depend on how dedicated you are I guess TL notes about the old book being covered will make the series even more interesting, but it's not a must since the important point is usually covered in the story anyway. As for the story itself, I don't see many things that absolutely need TL notes, but some TL notes here and there would add even more richness.

Tl;dr, not essential, but it would make it even nicer if it has some.

So that leaves Kizumonogatari as the next big contenter... if it ever decides to come out. Mikoto's position is solidified and Touma might actually get back his title... hell even Index has a chance to return back to top ten
