Just curious as to whether you play/have heard of Among Us. Simple yet enthralling and ever changing interactive whodunnit race. Started last night and had a blast in the discord group I played with.

You said message you here, so I'm dropping by

Phantasy Star Online 2 finally goes on Steam 8/5/20. Maybe being on a platform that isn't the Microsoft Store dumpster fire will be what draws in everyone. Because the game not uninstalling itself would help a lot. I'm still on Ship 3 if you ever want a change of pace; maybe PocariSweat can tell you how deep me and a few others on AnimeSuki have gone with the game

But that's enough of that. I'm not hard to find

P.S.: Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter gets really excited fighting Gon. Do I want to imagine how he'll react fighting Killua

I'll try to explain Cornette. He's someone that is from a time that understood the importance of a gradual build, the nuances, the finer points. In an age where there is a lot of instant gratification/memes/everything needs to be silly or funny, he is someone that provides a perspective that isn't utterly contrarian but willing to call it out when it deserves it. That he is from the southern US but not redneck and that while many will listen to him for the rants, he can be even more enthralling when he talks about simple things from everyday life and you see what he is when he isn't on a verbal rampage. In his heyday, he was able to cut some amazing promos. He was also one of the best people to hear from in the recent run of season 2 of Dark Side of the Ring.

I think it's very undervalued that in an age where both the more extreme ends of the left are crying foul of everything and the more extreme ends of the right want to have what they want at any cost, that there is someone slowing things down and trying to be relatively rational and honest but not cross the line too often. He gives me something to look forward to twice a week.

Yahtzee works for a lot of people because in an industry where most people are suck-ups or refuse to say/hear anything negative, he is brutally honest and damn funny while being so even to the point of self-slander and not pushing a political agenda. Dev Diary shows he actually does have game making knowledge and a good understanding of the core parts of what makes a game work. In a world that no longer has Totalbiscuit due to his early death, he's probably the most balanced one out there and he has been at it WAY longer than all the others. Certainly YongYea, AngryJoe, Bellular, Taliesin & Evitel and the like do good stuff as well but Yahtzee is a veteran at this point.

UrinatingTree is just priceless. And he covers so many sports. NFL, baseball, ice hockey, basketball. Hell, he even did one video on golf recently which was one of his best. He is savage (especially to teams of his home city) but he has a heart. His collaboration with KTO to cover the tragic history of the Cleveland Browns in the Superbowl era is one of the best things I've ever seen on Youtube.

Have you ever come across the following sources of amusing cynicism/wit on Youtube:

Zero Punctuation/Yahtzee's Dev Diary/Slightly Civil War (Yahtzee Crosshaw) (games)
    UrinatingTree (sports)
Official Jim Cornette (Jim Cornette) (wrestling)
    Jim Sterling (games)
    Cinemassacre (movies)

So how are we? Enduring the times we live in for the obvious reason and for both the left and right going way too extreme? Been watching/playing any good things?

Mikoto is very marketable. Soft fluff seems to get more latitude. As for fanbases, Horizon In The Middle of Nowhere had a loyal cult of 20k that bought it in any form no matter shat. For some people, that is their only reason for existence.

Why does Railgun still have a following? Pretty sure Mikoto was the only sane reason. Anything else, I'd rather not know. Pity, since Mikoto deserved to be in a better title.
