I'm not sure what you mean exactly about "pretenses" in Seiyuu Radio but its kind of like Watayuri in that the girls have work/stage personas and school/casual personas. I read a bit of the manga but it only adapted the first LN volume. From what I understand though the series is more about making it as seiyuu than any kind of yuri until pretty far into the series.

As far as the Ohtani stuff I think the guy just got robbed, unfortunately... but he's just got so fucking much money coming his way in the future $16m USD isn't that much in the grand scheme. I can't really handle baseball though... I might start paying attention in August when the playoff picture starts making sense. Although I am enjoying the drama over the A's moving from Oakland to... somewhere or other. I've only heard snippets about the Rice drama though... he was in a Lamborghini and racing against a Corvette on the freeway, or something like that.

Craymond is a great defender until he starts choking people or punching teammates or whatever. That guy has a few screws loose, and seems to get worse the further GSW falls from championship contention. They still have a chance in the play-in tournament I guess.

CGDCT = cute girls doing cute things. Sometimes there's yuri but 90% of the times there's just friendship with a side of bait, depending on how thick your yuri goggles are. I know Kanon's are especially thick. Spring 2024 is kinda loaded with CGDCT, I'm still on the fence about a few but definitely watching Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night and Train to the End of the World.

I never really liked shounen action to the point where I didn't even consider myself an anime fan until the mid '00s when the variety of shows coming out exploded. Now though I get the impression studios are churning out so much they're running out of stuff to adapt. Still waiting for a yuri to get S2 though.Oh and my sleeper of the season is Mysterious Disappearances (Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi) MC is a big titty 28 year old I can simp way more than Xiaomao.

NBA's prep to pro era was bad but the one and done rule kind of killed college basketball for me. This year the women's NCAA final got higher TV ratings than the men's final thanks to Caitlin Clark. Dawn Staley is a local legend though so I'm glad the women's final went the way it did. I didn't care much for either team in the Men's final.

I get the impression you're mixing up Bokuyaba with Nagatoro or something, its really not similar at all. And clips don't really capture progression which is where Bokuyaba is a master class. I'm not really sure what to compare it to 1:1, but that aside... we also live in a world where the tsundere archetype has been going strong for 25+ years or so, so... there's a majority of your 'bullying' . There's only a handful of tsundere I really like -- mostly 'classic tsundere' -- but tsundere doesn't work that well in yuri.

On the subject of yuri I think you guys expect too much from CGDCT series, and for LN series like Seiyuu Radio its best to assume the author probably dragged things for 7 volumes or so until confession, which means we might see kisses in season 3. The history of yuri is kind of complicated and Class S was built on 'intimacy' more than romance. I'm still waiting for something to break the season 2 curse... I was hoping Wataoshi or Mahoako could do it but it remains to be seen. There's been no yuri announced beyond this season either... its kinda concerning.

I dunno man I don't fuck around with queues, I have zero obligation to any piece of media. I just watch whatever I'm actually interested in at that moment. That said though its really hard to judge The Dangers in my Heart based on surface impressions; its a very subversive series in a way but S2 definitely deserves all the recognition it got so far. Otherwise... I kind of liked Sign of Affection but ended up dropping it halfway. I really enjoyed Dark Gathering though. Apothecary Diaries was entertaining but entirely overrated; how much you enjoy it seems wholly dependent on how hard you simp Xiaomao.

I preemptively gave up on hockey season in favor of basketball and now the Sixers are giving me hope which I'm sure is going to lead to disaster. Honestly no one really looks that good in the NBA aside from the Celtics who I despise with the fire of a thousand suns.

Too early to tell, but as far as new shows go, Jellyfish can't swim in the night seems very promising. There are quite a few yuri show this season, though some of them might just end up as mere yuribait.

The sequels are what I expected, so good.

Conversely the Texans are going to be scary next season... though I think Diggs is kind of overrated. I'm not sure what Tony Romo is going to do with himself if he doesn't get to call any Bills games next year.

Winter season finally over, and I figure I'll take another shot at getting you to watch Bokuyaba and Mahoako. Still working out what to watch in spring season though.

Frieren is over. Now to wait for a season 2, which I have no doubt will happen. The ending had a few extra snippets that weren't in the manga. I was surprised.

What is it that's causing you to require those treatments?

I'm slightly more intrigued by Seiyuu Radio as far as yuri is concerned. The manga for Whispering didn't do a whole lot for me but I'll give the anime another shot just because its yuri. I'll give Astro Note a shot and Unnamed Memory looks sort of interesting but I'm lukewarm about almost everything in spring going in. I'll probably find some things to watch in the season but Girls Band Cry and Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night and one or two other CGDCT are the most interesting things so far. I'm 50/50 on a few sequel series, and I may or may not watch Spice and Wolf reboot.

I've been feeling very un-gamery lately though I did pick up an ecchi game for $4.99 in the Steam sale. I just haven't had the patience to really dedicate to anything.

I've been getting whiplash following the free agency moves but I'm pretty satisfied with most of what the Eagles have done. Not sure I love Pickett but he's a hometown guy more or less and a cheap backup for a couple years. Still waiting to see what happens with Haason Reddick... we're overloaded with edge rushers right now.

I see you and Kanon talking up Dark Gathering that was a great series overall. Next season is going to be rough considering its all sequels I have very little interest in. I've been kinda spoiled this season; its rare that I have series I'm invested in as much as Mahoako and Bokuyaba.
