Funnily enough, Saber in UBW was voiced by Rukia.

Nowdays, even if it's still practiced in some countries it's seen as a sign of sexism that is generally dissaproved by the community xD

Marriage is still used but is more like a way to sum your efforts with those of your couple to stablish a solid patrimony for both and their children (if any xD) as also to give mutual emotional solace and support xD (things are a bit harder in modern times than it were back in the 80's economically speaking xDU).
