I'll recommend altec lansing, had some relly great experiences with that brand. They have some great stuff for around $50-$100.

Or you could go with Creative or Sony as well, but those might be more expensive. I wouldn't recommend Sonicgear, while they're cheap I've had some bad stuff coming outta the box, even tho general opinion for it is pretty good.

For headphones, I'll recommend going with Sennheiser, Audio-Technica or AKG, they've got some brilliant headphones.

Well, we share the same sentiments. Even without the spoilers to the untranslated chapters, I think I anticipate the stories of the Blanche family than of the Claudel family.

No guarantees, but there would be warrenties covering most of these for quite some time. Buy from an established brand if you're worried about the rate it'll spoil at, the workmanship is usually better and you'll be sure to get covered for at least a year.

Honestly speakers or headphones don't spoil that fast, so rest easy.

After that its really up to your own preference, but I'd suggest a good set of speakers if you're getting it for your desktop usage. Headphones are fine but you really don't want to be wearing one for hours on end, unless you're using it with a laptop with inbuilt speakers.

Still if you really want the privacy, headphones are great and you can really hear the sound quality if you buy a good pair. Just try listening to an mp3 and then a flac. But really depends on what you're buying for.

Ah, true, but in tamers the whole 3rd act was extremely dark what with the d-reapers invading the real world and everything. And that Leomon stayed dead, didn't he? Same with digimon season one's last 2 acts, the real world arc + the 4 lords of darkness arc. Oh yea, but tamers was the one that started the whole human --> digimon that led to frontier =.=

Did I just step on a landmine haha? Didn't know you were this...passionate, about the digimon shippings. If i remember correctly nothing really did come out of the whole davis/kairi/tk dynamic in the end tho (I was rooting for childhood friends end ). And yes, it was only as I got older that the matt/sora thing got increasingly disturbing (I did watch the movies, have them on DVD lol, gotta take 'em out when I'm back ). Honestly my memory of 02 is very fragmented, I think I missed out on the entire middle of the series.

Wasn't under the impression that tamers had any likely shippings tho. I just liked it for its dark story. Best part of digimon was the fact that they proved you could tell a good story in a kid's show.
