Hi Jan-Poo, when will W&W the new patch will be released? I'm really looking forward to play it now.

Hmmm yes and no... there aren't really "trials" in the VN, but some of the trials in W&W have some resemblance to events that happen in the VN. For example when Erika solves Mammon's problems she does the exact same thing she does at the end of EP5 by systematically removing the options that are impossible in order to get to the solution.

Asmodeus' trial is a parody of the scene in EP6 where Erika solves Maria's book's quizzes.

Lucifer's trial... well... it's pretty much standard stuff.
Belphegor's trial si more like a trial that has been done in RPG over and over again rather than an Umineko stuff. Satan's trial is a parody of old style computer RPG.

That apart there isn't really any similarity.

About WaW, were the trials there similar to the ones in the VN?

Yeah, I knew about Yatawhoever, it just that all 07Expansion seems to conflate in one hateful image of R07 for me right now. And I was not talking about the technical complexity of the work you did, I praised your ingenuity. For example that last bit of pt. 2 with that pincode number, I can honestly say I had to pull my jaw off the floor. I never saw it coming. And I can hardly recall anything as impactful in the sound novel itself. So this, good sir (or madam), was a great achievement.

btw that last pincode puzzle in part 2 was pure genius. Looks like you know your way around Onscripter better than R07 himself.
