I don't say this often, but indeed that was pretty touching.

Can't give you anymore rep but thanks so much for your advice and sharing your experiences. Im in an almost identical position. Although most people see me as a nice and friendly, easy to get along with guy I also have quite a 'bad boy' image. My 20th birthday is just around the corner and I was waiting for this event as a kind of catalyst towards moving on or moving forward with her. Things usually get moving when it comes to birthdays. I know that these feelings for her are by no means infinite nor eternal, and i've even said that to her. I've always been a live for the moment kind of person and this moment right now I still have feelings for her and I still believe she has feelings for me so I'm not giving up just yet. They say the longer you wait the better the reward, hopefully this is true. But that you for helping me understand that there is more to life than just her. It has given me a different kind of confidence to move. Cheers for the efforts
