Realistically, I struggle to see where else he could go. Vegas is a mess, Tennessee are on a long descent as are Indy, New England are stagnant in coaching, Seattle need far more than just a QB, LAR are headed for a rebuild thanks to all the burnt capital, the entire NFC South is a mess (I guess you could make a very slight case for Atlanta), Green Bay's window has ended, NYG have something they shouldn't mess with, Washington is a swamp in a napalm field.
Only the New York Jets make sense to me. Very capable GM in Joe Douglas, Saleh managed to get some culture going, defense is solid, Wilson and Hall make for a potent offense if they actually have a QB, some of the O-line is right. And at least they actually have some cap space, which they could free up via a trade or release. Atlanta is the only team with loads of cap that could make an offer to him and the offer of dominating a weak division, but they still need a lot of pieces. Technically, Baltimore has 33 million in cap but...they're going to need at least 55 million a year guaranteed to keep him. Roman should also have been fired already, he has held them back for far too long. I also think the whole AFC > NFC thing has been overblown. At this point, the AFC is really about Kansas, Buffalo and Cincinnati. NFC has Philadelphia, San Francisco, NY Giants, Dallas, with Detroit and Seattle on the rise. I think Lamar should stay in the AFC unless Atlanta somehow manages to appeal to some vets to fill in missing pieces. Blank is one of the more likeable owners, Smith managed to turn Tennessee into something decent before he went to Atlanta, decent position in the draft and they haven't whiffed on their recent high choices. Throwing to Pitts and London with Patterson and Algier - there's potential.
P3P, I expected things to be more basic in gameplay. I figured this was where they started to get the formula right, so I won't hold those things against it. A lot of people seem to be clowning on the battle audio, which I think is being overblown. My main issue so far is the lack of immersion. A few hours in, I don't feel like I know any character at all yet or a real sense of where I am. 4 really nailed that with how it got you to interact with enough people and places before flinging you into the fray. 3 seems very info dump and right into the fray. That said, I have already felt some plot (actually, I almost wonder whether it's revealing too much already) and one character has a bit of something. I'll see.
