Actually I think it's weaker than last year. Dilution from j+k qualifiers and the RM girls going out - all 3 were top 16 last year and had the potential to knock off anyone - has amde it more open. I see 12 fairly definite qualifiers but open competition for the last 4.

I think Fate would beat a secondary Toradora character easily. She should fix her vote difference in this one.

It is fathomable. It's revenge. Shana voters will be taking their revenge on Fate and Hinagiku this year. Tiara winners are their bitter rivals. Don't worry, Fate's harshest match is out of the way. Looking at the full list I cant find 10 characters that would outdo Fate. She'll be in the 16. She has a cake match today, she'll recover.

Big matches today are Yui vs Nadeko and Horo vs Azusa as they are all in serious contention for the final spots in the 16. Rin vs Kyou is a good headliner.
