Hmmm if it's just a bit more she seems featured in the ED too much though I suppose her death could be a trigger point for Fan perhaps? How far into the novels is the show so far anyway? IIRC they have no ending so maybe she got rewrote and will play a larger role in the show? Sorta like how Towards the Terra had a lot of changes from the old movie/manga in last years series.
