I used to feel the fear in my enemies eyes and listen as the crowd would sing:

But for some reason I can't explain, once you went there was never an honest word.
Revolutionaries waited for my head on a silver plate.
Now in the morning I sleep alone and sweep the streets I used to own. I'm just a puppet on a lonely string.
