Funny thing is I'm not a big fan of Key shows and Anohana. Even the ones I'm more positively inclined towards have a tendency to end up on my incomplete list. So perhaps there is some justification for my brother's surprise.

Yeah, I figured the HiME rewatch wasn't in the cards at this point. As for SAO II by most accounts Episode 14.5 can be skipped so you may be able to save yourself a bit of time by doing that.

I checked out the first episodes of Sora no Method and Yuki Yuna earlier this week. So far I much prefer Sora no Method, which really surprised Outfox. To be fair, I've only seen one episode of each so far and he's seen a lot more, but it does illustrate how his predictions about what I will and won't like can be way off on occasion despite how well he knows me.

Are you still watching SAO II, or did that one fall by the wayside with how busy your schedule has gotten? I'm kind of curious about what you might think of the new arc (which is really just getting started -the last three episodes were a side story adaptation and the one before that was a recap episode that I skipped).

My brother (who hasn't seen much of the show) guessed Togo so you beat him out. Though I guess to be fair to him, Togo was my frontrunner early on. I like her but I also think they leveled her up too quickly.

I kind of like how they made Itsuki and Fuu sisters as well.

(That reminds me, I recently asked my girlfriend how it is that she can say she doesn't like imouto characters but she likes Arisa in Love Live, and she told me that was different because Arisa doesn't say onii-chan.)

I have a history of being a tough customer for anime based around playing games (I still haven't finished Saki's first season, though I did watch its sequels because my girlfriend likes them) for reasons I've never entirely pieced together, and I think that's why I only made it to episode 5 or so of Wixoss' first season. (I also found it uncomfortably tense which is odd as I generally like some suspense - but I suspect this is a symptom of my feelings towards the genre more so than a cause).

Though I am somewhat amused you felt the need to warn me about Okada melodrama. I am not Pocari.

I recall you had tried out Inou-Battle as well, did you ever get that far in it?

I should note that Amagi did makes it to tier 3 for a bit before falling back so it might be a bit early to finalize it's position. Vanadis more or less did the opposite. And Shirabako actually started lower than I currently have it ranked (as did Grisaia, Sora no Method, Trinity Seven, Ushinawareta and Daitoshokan, the last of which I still think maybe should have gone in tier 2 instead).
