It was confirmed today that the Arizona Coyotes will be moving to Utah, as called by The Hockey Guy and Friedman. Betman's long term pet project finally implodes. Only mentioned Ohtani because of how whack the scenario was. Trusting others with your money is folly to say the very least.

I've seen a lot of titles where one of the pair is forced into a scenario they don't want to be in and then long term they end up liking it. The context of where it all starts is a big deal for me.

Okay, for some reason FB is spamming me images/comments on Seiyuu Radio. This scenario is created under pretenses that false...seriously? This is one of the aspects of yuri that really ticks me off. That it has to be utterly manufactured and not occur organically in a significant proportion of titles.

Leafs had a very frustrating 5-6 loss. Samsonov had his worst game in net since the 3-9 game that got him waived and it's yet another reminder the defense has a really low floor. Matthews reached 68 tonight, he has 3 games to reach 70 and be the first in about 30 years to pull that off. McDavid might reach 100 assists today and be the first to do that in about the same amount of time. Crosby reached 1000 career assists.

Heard Barkley really ripped into Durant. NFL draft 2 weeks away and that Rice guy the Chiefs has as their one reliable WR had a warrant put out on him for causing a 7 car collision and multiple serious injuries. Apparently the Ohtani saga has taken another weird turn with his interpreter pleading guilty to stealing $14 million from his bank account and the feds saying they don't see criminal activity on Ohtani's part. Still feels like the whole story isn't out and probably never will be, though, given he is the international face of the MLB.

Clark was definitely a beast on offense. But it's this stuff that is bewildering. Bucks and Lakers are mystifyingly guilty of this stuff in the NBA. For the record, this guy did do a video a few days ago praising good defense from Draymond Green (while recently roasting the Warriors) so he isn't always scathing.

I feel that the early part of this year is an anomaly. That somehow, a bunch of good titles/revivals have coincided and that once the April season is over, it's back to same as it ever was. And either way, Jujutsu Kaisen is now branded as the biggest title in the world so shounen always prevails with its sales.

For me to get invested in a romance title, I have to consider the couple healthy. I am aware of the initial dynamic and how the power balance/feelings change - I've seen clips from multiple points in the series. They all make me shrivel up inside. Perhaps things eventually get cute. But I honestly don't care. I draw the line of tolerating a couple at Hana Yori Dango. While the potential for violence existed long term, I felt the eventual duo had the potential to make it and wanted to be better people. In the sheer majority of current romances, I see manipulation/bullying. I don't abide by that at all. Tomo-chan is a Girl clicked for me because I truly believed in the duo, what they were as people, how they wanted to change and making decisions one would expect of their age. And as Kanon and I have discussed multiple times, yuri relationships get turned into yuri bait because that sells more, which never ceases to make me sigh.

As for Apothecary Diaries, it's more than that, for me anyway. It is the setting and how it gives Maomao an uphill battle from her youth. It is how very much her approach reminds me of Gregory House in House MD. Murder mystery/conspiracy scenario. For character types/traits that are rare these days.

Awful Coaching shows most NBA teams can't even do basic defense anymore and that college is even worse, so I find it too painful to watch.

Flyers haven't won in their last 8 and are sliding out of the playoff picture. Ever since the Tortorella outburst, they just have gone missing and getting beat 9-3 by the Canadiens is quite fatal. They can still make it but now the Penguins, Red Wings, Capitals and Islanders are ahead of them for just the final spot as I doubt anyone can get past Tampa for the first wildcard. Leafs have pulled off mainly wins of late and have swung a Matthews/Domi/Bertuzzi first line since Marner returned from injury and it's actually working. Almost certain the Leafs will face the Panthers in the first round.

I still have Apothecary Diaries, Sign of Affection and Dark Gathering to look at before I even get to the current season. I've looked at clips of Dangers in My Heart and it's the kind of romance that makes me angry, let alone dislike, so politely, no. Mahoako doesn't look like my jam either.

Had a sudden burst of clearing Difficulties 13-15 in Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate so now the elusive Builder achievement is the only one remaining. I have only ever seen it line up once and I had the most negative abilities paired with it. Have lost count of the number of times 4/5 has lined up. Eventually...need to get to some other indies otherwise. An Australian game called Broken Roads is about to release, which I am keen to look at.

Stefon Diggs to the Texans for a 2nd rounder in a future draft. Bills are beyond done now.

Adaptations can unlock what didn't seem present in a manga. Genre relevant, Sakura Trick really didn't seem like it had what it took in manga form but the anime really drew its good parts out.

Came across an amazing Japanese musician. Loads of material that is just great for background/chilling.

Done any game ventures of late? Have had a lot of fun with Balatro this weekend. Getting Slice and Dice when it launches this week. Looking into Wingspan since a friend is playing it. Started playing Disco Elysium last weekend but no energy this weekend made it a no go this time so hopefully next weekend.

Other major NFL things - Chargers traded Allen to the Bears, Ekelers to the Commanders and cut Williams. Who is Herbert throwing to??? Steelers picked up Fields as well as Wilson and shedding WRs and OL. Tree has already confirmed Days of Our Steelers is back. Scooter pretty much summed things up for dem Cowboys.
