Yeah, isn't she just the cutest =3. Unfortunately I couldn't find one with a close up of her face, her fang is even cuter.

Most of the series that I listed as "on-hold" are series that I started and made good headway through, but never finished (usually because I became too busy and forgot about it, stopped following it, or some other such thing). I was about halfway through both Monster and Mushishi and really enjoyed both of them; I intend to go back and finish them at some point. The only annoying thing about getting through a series mid-way and then not viewing it for a year or more is that I need to start all the way back from episode 1. I usually only watch 1-2 episodes per day at max, and generally it's more like 3-4 per week, so that sets me back quite a bit. Ah, and to think that 10 years ago I was watching 4+ episodes in a day...

I'm mightily impressed with MAL. I'm not dedicated enough to anime at this point to keep my profile well-updated (hence why I haven't listed anything as currently watching - I'll list them when I finish them), but it has some really neat functions. Thanks for indirectly pushing me to set up an account there!

Recently I was on a rampage of yuri doujins. So, it was a nice change of pace to see the plot more focused on emotions. Actually after reading 5-6 doujins I just read the others for the emotional parts and skimmed through the "intimate" parts

The last series that I watched that was actively airing before I stopped was Gundam 00. I think that was early 2008. In thinking it over to make the list at MAL, though, I realize that there are quite a few shows that I either started watching and never finished, or just never got around to...

Most of the series recommendation talk related to about a year ago, when I was getting back into anime after a bit of a hiatus and was finding it difficult to appreciate some of the eccentricities that are present in many series. Since then I've broken into quite a few series, and I think I'm back to being able to appreciate the eccentric points again. So, at this point I'm not really looking for anything in particular, and I've queued up a few series. But if you want to give me some recommendations, I'm all for hearing some.

I'm now avoiding harem/ecchi series, and prefer those that are a bit more serious in nature. I was following series somewhat regularly up until around 2007/2008, so I'm interested in series that have come out since then.

I viewed Angel Beats! and thought it was great; I'm currently watching Guilty Crown, Another, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (and Index season 2) and Clannad. I have Hanasaku Iroha, Hidan no Aria, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and Chrome-Colored Regios in queue. If there are any series that you think I should check out (or any that I've listed that you think are a waste of time), I'd be pleased to hear it.
