I agree with regards Reckoner ... when all else is said and done he is sincere. That seems clear to me, and I respect him for that, even if I disagree with some of his assessments of this personal taste wise from time to time.

Hmm ... how shall I say this? His is a type of sincerity, though, that is a walking time bomb for trolls to jump all over and derail a thread, if you get what I mean. In some ways he reminds me of the stereotypical literary image of the dwarf (if not a fantasy genre fan I mean dwarf like elves, wizards and dragons type of a dwarf).

But if you have insights to some of the other posters mentioned and are interested to share I'd be willing to listen.

Well, afaict the common handful of people (say, about 6?) who especially love to hop in on threads of any sort where there is either blatant ecchi subjects or ecchi subjects that are hinted at: Mangatron, TheEroKing, Malkuth and Djmaca are the most "serious while Sumeragi and SaintessHeart like to hop in and playfully troll, even if they do not agree with the first four's sentiments - Malkuth is prolly the most outspoken of the bunch.

Anyway - if you have watched the first two eps the show is somehow (at least it seems so far) trying to do a bizarre and to my mind extremely difficult task of juggling identities between Lotte no Omoche and Usagi Drop - and many who come to thread % wise (myself included) hope that the Usagi Drop content will be higher than the Lotte no Omoche. Well, the handful of people who love to dwell on and endlessly joke about ecchi subject matters (Malkuth in particular) took umbrage to it. And divisions began.

THEN Reckoner hopped in - as you may know from his posts he often says his mind in rather offensive ways, which did not help at all. So to be honest I got tired of everyone arguing the same things over and over again and no one really being interested in anything like discussion.

So I pm'd Monir about the thread and said "Can something be done? Please?" He said he would keep an eye on it. Well, he did, and he and Relentless have been showing their presence in there a little more, for which I am thankful, I guess.
