Frankly I'm surprised to hear such praise for a LN adaptation, but the manga does get good reviews I see.
There was definitely a rumor (maybe thanks to the animated commercial) but nothing confirmed apparently.

Wasn’t there a rumor a few weeks ago that Apothecary was getting an anime? I don’t know anything about it really except it’s originally a LN.

Wonder Egg Priority is my favourite this season. Its been consistently delivering and I'm surprised how good it is.
I read some Apothecary Dairies but it couldn't hold my attention but I think I'd like it a lot more if it ever gets adapted

I'm not watching it but Wonder Egg Priority seem really interesting. I'm mostly watching sequels this season.

It's impossible to tell at this point. The last third of the manga was bad, but they can always do worse.

The Promised Neverland S2 removed all the best parts of the manga post-escape, including one of the most popular character (and he was a really great character). Now it's going full anime original, though we can tell from the OP they'll retain at least two plot points. I'm pretty sure they intend to end the story with this season.

I've always seen the Chihaya-Arata-Taichi trio has a ticking time bomb, so I'm not surprised it finally exploded in this season. It was always going to happen. To be honest, I don't remember much of that, I was a lot more focused on the supporting and the side characters, and on that front, this season was a treat.
Last year was worth it for Golden Kamuy and GochiUsa's S3s alone. They surpassed previous seasons in many ways. But I guess the fact they're sequels only supports what you're thinking.

I thought the third season of Chihayafuru was a tremendous improvement over the second which was pretty much endless matches. Harada's story was amazing.
The original LoGH is really great, don't forget to watch the prequel movie first (forgot the name), it gives more context. Be warned it's rather slow paced.

The bore for me was Oregairu S3. A lot of nothing to just lead to the obvious conclusion.

After 14 episodes, Higurashi Gou is finally getting interesting. They handled the whole thing really oddly. The first episode made it look like it was a remake, then the second episode made it clear it was a sequel and yet they still treated it like a remake and simply put a twist at the end of the arcs. Now it's finally all new material.
