Hmm really? For some reason I am not that surprised actually. It sounds weird but I had a feeling that the anime would get a sub par treatment. I can usually get over occasional bad art and CG usage (I mean I got through all of Attack on Titan) so that shouldn't be too much of a problem to me. Yeah I wouldn't expect them to really change any of the characters too much but I am glad to get confirmation that they are all the same.

Ha, must be someone else that I know on here then, hard to keep track on everyone sometimes. Yeah, it will be a good movie but not good enough to go to another country to try and see it . Yeah, It will eventually get posted online for everyone to see I am sure but that is probably at least a year away from now. There is a lot of supposed spoilers already floating around but I mean this early on its hard to tell if any of them are true or they are all just troll spoilers based upon what has been show in all of the previews so far.

Yeah, we are a small group, only around 15-20 people and we don't get that much of a budget but its not like I really need a big budget anyway. We are a part of the Gaming Society we have on campus so that helps us get more people for sure. Yeah that probably would be interesting but not exactly what you want.

Yeah, its nice to find someone you can talk to about your interests at work for sure. It doesn't really shock me that most of the people aren't really that big into anime, we are kind of a small niche culture I would say.

They are all interesting series, although Pupa still hasn't aired yet and I haven't heard anything else about it .

Question - Have you watched the Madoka Magica Rebellion movie yet? Or been spoiled on it yet? If you have, I'd be curious to get your take on it. If you haven't, I'll wait until you've seen the film yourself.

Yeah, about four months in fact . Well I am sure that was kind of to be expected since you have to put more effort into work and it takes up a lot of time. People usually say that programming jobs are tiring due to the long hours that you usually have to work. I haven't been watching much anime either, I have had classwork and club work to do so I haven't had much free time and even if I do I usually end up using it to do something with my friends, not sitting by myself watching anime.

I need to give Unbreakable Machine-Doll a try, I have read the manga as well and I found it to be pretty entertaining. I wasn't really a fan of Valvrave, it might have to do with the fact that I am just not really that big of a fan of Mecha's but it seemed dull to me. I feel the same way about most of them right now, I have tried the first episode of a bunch but none of them have really struck me as you should keep watching this material. You live in Canada don't you? or am I thinking of someone else? I already got my tickets for the airing of it since I live in the U.S. and they are doing a pretty big amount of screening for it here. Well I will tell you at least if its good or turns out to be a disappointment from my perspective if that helps at all (probably not but its the thought that counts xD).

I have been enjoying college for the most part, a couple of my classes have been doing pretty bad but besides those everything else is going pretty damn good actually. I have been enjoying running the anime club this year on my campus as well as just hanging with people so I can't complain.

Umm if I had to suggest a couple things from this season, Galilei Donna has got my interests at least somewhat during the first episode although it was a little scattered in what was going on. Nagi No Asukara is another one that keep my interest and finally Pupa is something I actually really want to see but it hasn't started airing yet for whatever reason so I don't know what is going on with that.

Yeah, I also haven't given much thought to who would be my 2nd, 3rd, etc... favorite girls in J-SaiMoe after Sayaka. I initially was against the idea of Mami repeating, but I've softened a bit on the idea (partly since Homura is completely eliminated now; her gaining vindication for 2011 would have been a nice story, imo). Sayaka defeating Mami in the Finals would be poetic - A great passing of the torch moment, reflecting the anime itself. I also think Mami has been disrespected a bit, and for that reason, it would be cool to see her repeat to prove her doubters wrong. My No. 1 choice is still Sayaka though, of course.

Like yourself, I like Kuroneko. I also am fond of the Madoka Magica girls, and some of the Saki girls. But it does increasingly look like Saki has little shot.

I'm curious, did you ever watch Love Live! after? Not that it's relevant in J-SaiMoe any more, since they were all eliminated, lol.

I'm curious - I'm sure we both want Sayaka to make it to the J-SaiMoe 2013 finals (and win). But who is your No. 2 girl in this tournament? What would your dream finale be, in other words?

I've recently come across some simply spectacular Sayaka artwork on pixiv. The artists there are just doing an incredible job with her!

However, these are big, huge pics, and I'm not sure how best to showcase them either on the Madoka Magica subforum, or in the Miracles and Magic group.

But in any event, here are four fantastic pics of Sayaka that I really want to get your take on.

    1. Sayaka, Gurren Lagann style

    2. Sayaka, Chibi Style

    3. Sayaka, DC Comics Style

    4. Sayaka, After Partying With Fate/Zero's Iskander (That last one includes a pantsu, just so you know)

However, if I am coming across as a hassle with the pics and PMs I've sent you lately, please tell me. I've perhaps been a bit overzealous lately.
