No point when I generally know what is going to happen. Being optimistic is a foolish action to take part in no matter who you are. I wish I had quite back around 18 like I had planned, but I foolishly stuck around hoping that ring scene would have come up. I doubt you will have anything good to post. Thanks for understanding anyway.

"Absent father" to the end is pretty much all we'll ever know about him at this rate...

I agree there. It would be good to learn about how they all met and how they came to be part of the plan, which as you've mentioned could have been cleared up a bit. C.C.'s past in general could also use some details, if not in a picture drama then at least in a DVD booklet or something similar.

We'll have to wait and see how the casualty count looks like then...I expect most of the battle to take place in Turn 24, so 23 should be mostly setup, a plot twist or two aside. Many different outcomes are still possible, but Ougi and Villetta have a good chance of surviving if they do...nothing at all.

I'm hoping C.C. gets a good scene soon enough, because that's one of the things they tend to be pessimistic about. I'm not certain she needs to die, I know it's a possibility but not something guaranteed...especially if we get some positive build-up.

I'd even try to draw and design said hat myself...but I'm pretty unskilled in that area.

True, sometimes quite excessively, but I guess that's a perfectly valid way to go about liking a show...or one of its characters at least.

A giant robot would be funny enough, but I'd even be expecting Damocles to turn into a larger castle or an actual looks more like an anchor right now.

After Lelouch gets over his eternal siscon status, you mean...which would be good enough as character development. That's pretty much a must, especially if there's any chance she'll die once and for all. The "Zero Requiem" and the promise seem fairly fatalistic, but there may be some positive twist to it, beyond self-sacrifice alone. I expect Jeremiah's Geass to come into play if Nunnally gets a happy'd be at least more useful as a plot device than it's been so far. Too little has been done with it, no?

There's probably a secret or two regarding Schneizel's motivations or personality, let alone his actual plans...but I'm afraid the whole "lulz" aspect may still be dominant if it doesn't get across clearly. Still, the next episode should give us a surprise or at least a peek.

In any case, nothing is going to happen with C.C.. Her only role left in the plot is to die because she has to. She's an extremely selfish person who is only allowed fleeting happiness at best and never more than that. The fact she has been alive for so long means she has to die. She cannot be allowed to have a normal, happy life after what she has done and she also needs to be gotten rid of so that Kallen can be with Lelouch. I don't know where people are getting the idea that Lelouch and C.C. ever could be a couple anyway. They have never had one hint of romance between the two of them. Only Kallen has and as such she needs to end up with them or else she will be unhappy in the end and that would just be a crime. Besides, C.C. doesn't care about what Lelouch is doing and only cares about her contract as recent info shows. Lelouch doesn't matter to her. He's just a tool. A means to an end. And even if hypothetically she did like Lelouch, she will never reveal those feelings. The girl who wins in Taniguchi's series are the ones whose feelings are clear and are developed over the course of the entire show like Kallen. Kallen is the only one who can be loved in the end. That's all there is to it. It's over and done.

In the tradition of Kallen being interrupted almost every other time she and Lelouch had a chance to talk... I wonder if her father wasn't supposed to show up during her captivity...that seemed like a good time to bring him back into the picture, at least. A picture drama would be nice to see, since those are pretty short and to the point.

Come to think of it, C.C. would deserve one of those too, to clear up some loose ends about her past. Even know, we aren't exactly sure about everything and her chronology is a bit confusing when you try to tie it all up.

I would hope so, but I'd think Ougi has more of a chance to survive than Toudou, since he's a warrior and will be fighting on the front lines...I can't help but feel sorry for Chiba, yet maybe she'll at least get to confess. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised, who knows?

Optimism, like hope, should be the last thing left...unfortunately though, Dann and others seem to have lost it already, in several ways.

I'd be pretty amusing to see a fan art of that...wonder why nobody else seems to have thought of it.

I guess so. It's just that I haven't seen, in English at least, any other blog or website that pretty much doubles as a character shrine so...transparently.

Maybe it's just me, but I would find it more interesting if that piece of Disneyland transformed into something's already cheesy enough, can't possibly be worse if it changed shape.

Like a twisted version of the chess game against Mao? Sounds pretty wicked. Poor Lelouch though. If anything though, I hope this last confrontation leads to his overcoming his obsession with his sister.

Yeah, probably and I agree that he would simply be presumed dead. All that it comes down to is that C.C. will die and Lelouch has a high chance of living. The gum lines don't likely matter very much and it could always come up at some random point before this happens. The other scenario ends with C.C. dying as well. After all, where would Lelouch need to "hurry and and go" to that would allow him to "come back" in the end?

It's over anyway since that little bit on C.C. confirmed she will end up dying to save Lelouch which means he'll also be with Kallen in the end.

    - If he makes sure Nunnally escape, I'm not sure why she would stay behind when she's mortal (assuming Lelouch has the Code at this point). Unless she wants her last moments to be by his side.

    she= c.c.? or Nunnally?

    - In that situation, I would expect Nunnally to still be on it if Schneizel tries to do that. If Lelouch survives and she's gone, that would suck for him.

    - He will watch over the world from a distance?

I don't know . No I guess he will try to live with his friends and everyone he knows, but he will end up alone someday and might leave them only some times after the end of code geass.

    - Possible since if Lelouch is in danger, she would give the Code forcefully so that he lives. That depends if it's possible for the giver to give it to the user.

go read the thread, i am talking about that with var

Now that we have this piece of information, how do you think it will fit with her gum lines?

    I don't know!

Yeah, I guess. It seems way too flimsy though and is very unlikely. I guess Geass will be brought up some other way and it won't end well.

I have to admit I found Ami's surprise to be interesting as well since a lot of that seemed to indicate romantic scenes for her. Or maybe Ami always thought the scenes didn't mean anything for some reason. Her surprise is interesting though I feel that Kallen's scene warrents an answer from Lelouch while C.C. really has nothing in her favor. Kallen's gum line is also a clear win for her.

Never seen an anime billboard. Thanks. Possibly, but it doesn't look good for her at all since they seem to have dropped pretty much everything gained from the other episodes and restored her to her death seeking habits and giving Lelouch immortality. I don't know how she could die, but the only way I know would actually work is her Code. It may not be a good ending, but I could see it happening. I guess the FLEIJA would fit with her gum line, which is essentially saying she is going to die and never see Lelouch again.

That recent bit of info makes the entire situation worse.

Well................ the most likely scenario for me is this one:

    - C.C. and him are in damocles. (not nunnally)

    - Schneizel, since he knows he will lose try to destroy damocles with lelouch and him in it.

    - Since lelouch has still some things to do in this world, C.C. gives him her code by force.

    - Lelouch survives because he became immortal, c.c. dies

It could, I thought about that and even said it in the thread, but you know................... unpopular notion........................... <_<
