    Yeah, same here.

    Well, generally the shorts I write are easier to do with UST because the viewpoint tends to be split both ways between Vivio and Lutecia....

    Thankfully all of my friends who are fans of the series are rational and do admit that yes, overall, it sucks but they just find it so sucky that it's addicting. Which I can respect. I've had those kinds of things.

    Yeah, she got over it. She was twelve when it happened and the family really supported her, so she's moved on and put it behind her. At least it helped her recognize Edward for what he is.

    I'm forever grateful. I think it helps that she had a bad experience with a boy before the saga came out, so what everyone else sees as "Edward is just being romantic and protective!" she sees as "Edward is being a creepy sparkling stalker!"

    My sister has a vague interest in it, so she never gives me much trouble for my enjoyment of it as long as I continue buying the volumes she likes. I'm thankful she never went through a Twilight craze; she read the series when it came out, but she never liked it all that much.

    It went both ways for us while we were in high school. All the younger kids knew me as "Nicolette's sister" while all the older kids (especially the girls on the track team) knew her as "Ariana's sister". Though funny thing is, I got her hooked on manga. She isn't a major fan, but she likes some series and reads whatever I buy from the bookstore.
