Oh, Diablo 3 bnet is still a step backwards I guess. There's no custom channels. :S Kinda sad that net 2.0 is inferior to 1.0. Geez.

Bitterness about such things? It's okay, don't we all have enough? ^^ And yea, definitely not worth the worry. Online interaction gives a lot of possibilities but the issue is that it's easier to be dishonest-- you can really say you are anything you want without forced proof. I noted one fairly elaborate and possibly humorous hoax where someone pretended to be a girl, but that's all I'll say in public. =p But, it can be worse. There's some really disturbed people you can come across at times.

As for the jeweler, lol, I dont even know what a triangle gem is. Honestly, the crafting is way too expensive. In fact, if your gear had a gem of lesser quality, and you wanted to yank the gem out and upgrade it, I would advise against it because it's too cost prohibitive. I mean really, it's cheaper to go to the AH and just buy an entirely new weapon. So yea, that's why I mentioned I have a bunch of gems in the stash-- you'll go broke trying to upgrade your stuff in that manner.

It's a bit sad. I ended up tossing stacks of gems less than radiant that I was collecting all along to the vendor. Same goes for any essence you get for salvaging before Inferno. Only salvage level 60 blue/yellow items. The rest is best sold-- lest you have a bunch of crap you can't use. Thinking of crafting sub-60 items? Just don't.

In any case, I consider it beneficial for all of us on AS playing d3 to have established characters in inferno, for a larger user/item/knowledge pool can only help. For the most part, unless an item will make me hundreds of thousands of gold, I'd rather give it to someone I already know. Plus, we can all complain about how badly Blizzard balanced the highest levels. So don't be too afraid to ask for anything.

And maybe you can get lucky and sell stuff for real money. Who knows.

Well, at least it's not as bad as Starcraft 2 where you could not play on different servers at all unless you bought a copy. Friend in Europe? You're screwed. I was rather annoyed at 2.0's lack of functions, but since 1/8 my posts are in that Sc2 thread, I feel the need to say no more. Diablo 3's bnet is far better in at least you can jump around. That I am grateful for.

Drama... well, honestly it took me a while to think of anything to say. Is this person an online acquaintance? Otherwise I find it weird that they could hide something so huge like being already married. Usually people make a pretty big thing out of being married. Well, ok, there was this one instance where I didn't know a classmate was married, and then at the very end she introduces me to her husband. I'm just like "whoops, sorry..." Yea, hugging someone's wife too closely is awkward to say the least.

In any case, just realize that this was gonna be a dead end anyways, and it was better off concluded sooner than later. (Yea, I know, it's easy to say these things online without actually knowing you so feel free to disregard it) But if I know anything, it's that some people aren't worth the time.

Back to D3, I also have a stockpile of radiant/square gems in my stash that aren't going to sell so in case you need that...

Oohhhh, I never expected you to be a ladies' man. I'm just kidding; real life problems always take priority and people need to leave drama to tv and stop wasting our time with it.

I'm in California (for better or for worse-- mostly worse) so that makes me the Americas server. Previous versions of the game separated the Americas by east and west; can you imagine that?

I know you don't care, but I'll tell ya anyway.

The idea I got was...was replacing the Freedom, as Kira's upgrade Gundam, to the Providence Gundam.

The worst part about the online thing is that whenever they decide to stop supporting the game, we're just fucked, whereas for most games, once you buy the game you can play it forever regardless of what happens to them. For d3, it's almost like we're just renting out a space on bnet, which is totally lame.

So how goes you in the game? I think you'll be planning for some dps beyond 90 on your weapon by now?
