The Chihiro person looks like a guy to me, and Chihiro isn't strictly a girl's name is it cause the male protag from Sankarea's name is Chihiro.

Anyway looks like this hasn't been confirmed as Kyoani otherwise this thread would have probably become hype central by now since Kyoani and massive hype seemingly cannot exist without one another....well I'd argue it's more of a parasitic relationship with Kyoani being the parasite in this case and the massive amounts of fan-hype acting as the life support mechanism. Hype is eternal sadly. In any case I look forward to whatever Kyoani's next project is with equal amounts of curiosity and dread, but something tells me this is not it.

A straight up romance series is something that I feel has been missing/lacking for a very long time (not since Amagami), these days is all complications with various fetishes and ambiguity.
