did anyone see the trailer for the live action movie of "attack on titans"?

to be honest, i was first happy, after seeing the trailer i dont really expect much... anime/manga storys should never be played by real humans...it simply wont fit no matter how much thy want to stay at the plot :/

yeah, sometimes the live action movie from anime/manga is disappointing.

the last time i watch a live action movie like this was Ultimate Hentai Kamen, and i ultimately disappointed with it

I think it could work if they have a huge budget for the effects and such. I mean the Matrix and Underworld did pretty well and those movies had some very similar elements that you find in Anime. Basically it comes down to low budget and director and cast that don't have enough faith in the source material to make it work. A lot of times you hear later that the director or producers didn't think that an American audience would understand the source material so changes were made.

To be honest live actions like Naruto and Dragonball should never be attempted without a really big budget wait sratch that they should NEVER be attempted. In my head Naruto has alway been an asain guy despite the blonde hair and blue eyes I mean Sakura has pink hair I always thought Kishi was just playing with colors. It would feel more authentic if Naruto was played by an asian guy like watching subbed anime instead of dubbed. Hollywood still hasn't learnt from its mistakes like dragonball being its largest and most recently Avatar: the last airbender which isn't anime but its similar. Atleast they could give it a great budget and a good director anyway that's just my two cents on the whole thing.:heh:

Bleach, FMA now this. Why are studios rushing to do anime film adaptation that will most likely not work. Did they think that this is Death Note or something.

I am totally okay with that as long as they don't mess it up like the Full Metal Alchemist live action movie on Netflix!
