Day of Sagittarius 3! Dear god... I can't believe this. As a RTS gamer this is THE arc that resonates with me.

This episode is absolutely great. I have the novel to compare with this one...
It's too bad that the anime skips over the actual chant by Nagato. It's in the Baka-tsuki's translation however in case if anyone is interested to read over it.
I love how Haruhi dragged Kyon near the end of this ep btw.

Wow. That was brilliant, as expected. Very very impressive, especially several animation sequences. The fight was among the most spectacular pieces of work I've seen in the last years :)

The highest rating I normally give is 9, and this is a little bit above that. 10 is reserved for the particularly amazing episode with an extra twist (I only pulled it for FSN 14 yet). This extra twist was missing here, but still, what a great great ep.

As a sidenote, I really dig the Nagato "casting" theme. Looking forward to finding this on the OST ^_°

*picks jaw up off the floor* OMG Yuki and Mikuru FTW...

Just from the screen shots i want to give this a 10 and I haven't given that high a rating for an anime since episode 14 of Fate stay night(each episode after has gotten no more than an 8 from me). This show just keeps getting better and better, and has surpassed Fate to line right up there with Tsubasa Chronicle as my two favorites this season.

Oh. My. God. I can safely call this the best animated episode I've ever seen. I totally understand why they saved up some time with Yuki's reading scene last week... And Yuki owned so much! The scene was just utterly awesome.

Oh. My. God. 2. I loved Gotou Yuuko's work with the adult Mikuru, just as much as I loved Mikuru's actions. The way she tells Kyon not to get too close, just makes you feel a bit mad that Mikuru just can't be with Kyon because of Haruhi (I am saying this as a Kyon x Haruhi fan, by the way, although I like Kyon x Itsuki more but it's got no chance to ever happen).

Sorry for not being able to type anything too constructive, I'm still under the shock. I feel like giving this a 10 is not enough (then again, I've given out 2 or 3 10s to Haruhi already, along with F/SN 14 who deserved it...)
