Other than that, the episode is what it's suppose to be - a straight adaptation from Vol. 4, Ch. 1, nothing more, only some slight, non-important modification (taking out Kanako's reaction when she's changing, how Ayase was actually prepared to go on stage herself if her plan fail, etc.).

P.S. Ayase is a yandere...at least according to the drama CD chapter (Is she a true yandere, probably not. On the other hand, she's a knife away from killing Kyousuke every time they meet...there's a reason why Kyousuke fear Ayase...)

I didn't say that it's pornographic, I said it's NOT QUITE pornographic. And I think that the common portrayal of gravure does fit pretty well with the "not quite" classification. I still recall a moment in SYD where a character asked if it was OK to come "empty-handed"(tebura), and the student council president replied that she should come clothed. The response was quite simply, "No, she wasn't talking about the gravure term"(te-bura= hand-bra).

And while I agree any normal guy would jump at the chance to try and convince a model to wear something skimpy, he's still an idiot here. This isn't just a model he knows, it's a model he knows who thinks he's a pervert and a potential predator. And anyway, there's a matter of limits here. If he'd suggested she show up in something relatively revealing, she might have done it for her friend, but he asked her to wear a costume that appears to have a back that dips to the legs. I mean, the fabric covers a little of the outside of each buttock but leaves the middle completely open. I'm all for his trying to push a girl to be a little bold, but he should have tried for something actually attainable. I imagine she'd prefer going in her underwear over that.

In terms of story this episode was pretty useless, but it was fun.

Nothing too relevant this episode but I can't deny how much fun it was :heh: KanaKana was on moe overload and I enjoyed it. Not much screen time for Kirino this episode although I loved her reaction to Kyousuke's "what are you, my girlfriend?"



Kanako sure was pretty violent, didn't expect her to act like that :heh: Maid episode next? I can't wait :p

Ayase and Kanako really shined, especially cosplaying Kanako, to bad she not what she looked like on stage. :heh:

This episode was soo fun and entertaining that I think I'm going to watch it again in a couple of minutes.

I like Ayase much better than Kirino.

And Kana more too.....from Kirino's actions in the past 2-3 episodes, I grown to like about every other girl character better than her.

Anyway, any info on who was the voice actor for Kana, and that other blonde cosplayer girl from England?

You have to admit Kirino geeking out at the event was pretty cute and absolutely hilarious, no matter what you think of the way she acts with Kyousuke. Kanako's appearance was gold too, especially the way talks and sits... :heh:


What did the pics Kirino was looking at in the end mean? Ayase left Kanako without her normal clothes?

I'm not 100% percent certain but I believe the ending art for this episode is done by Ito Noizi (same guy that does the Haruhi and Shana novel illustrations). Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

I think Kyousuke actually deserved that slap from Kirino this time. What a stupid thing to say.

Been a while since Ayase actually had a role in an episode. It's been like 6? Glad she's attempting to accept Kirino's otaku-ness though she's still quite a ways from doing so completely. I also thought she would've completely despised Kyousuke because of earlier events but it's refreshing to see that's not the case.


I find it kind of ironic that Kanako who's a moe-blob herself is saying she doesn't give a crap about it. xD;

Don't really like her that much. Kind of a self-centered bully.

damn, didn't notice at all, knowing now, I can see hear it. Kana sounds a lot more similar to her role in B Geta H Kei than Nanoha.

Fun episode. I had no complaints for it at all. Though I was slightly disappointed that Ayase didn't go up on stage and Cosplay as that character in the magazine. ^_^

But damn Kanakana reminded me of Komagi Akira from Lucky Star with how she's able to switch between being cute and a real bitch so easily.
