sry, i didnt notice the AGE part when i first posted my question.

You can continue the discussion there if you want. Would love to hear some of your ideas.

I always wanted a Mass Rffect holographic field thigh but with some modifications.

I saw these two gems over at Gundam Wiki. Thought I'd bring em down our way.

I really like the AGE-1 with those cannons. Heh, can't believe I didn't think of that AGES ago.

Vagan design philosophy wins again.

I've always been normal with Vagan designs though they are prett unique. I like the AGE-1 Cannon though.

the Vagan MS are definetely unique though im not too carzy about them very much. they're very angular in design and many share common designs and forms. Turn A had even weirder MS/MA designs that were more appealing and interesting. i loved Turn A series for the unique world and storyline they were presented in.

i do love the design of Medel Zant's MS and would buy a model kit of it given it will ever be released. im still keeping an eye out for it to get on htem market though i beleive Bandai will drag their feet for a long time before the Zaydalus comes out. the zeydalus does stand out the most in al their (Vagan) designs. imo, the other diverse models before and after were progressively altered in design that few managed to be noticeable until the Vagan Gundam. ive only seen Zeheart's MA/MS that ever stand out design and colour-wise (aside fron Zeydalus) from all the suits they came up with. the Danazine and Ghirarga are some of the other Vagan designs that were noticeable. i wouldnt lump the legilis with "traditional" vagan designs but i have nothing against it, the design is cool, sleek and has a tasteful amount of angular features.

the humanoid models all had atleast 10 different angular configurations. the difference in the MS/MA design uniqueness between Turn A and AGE is the fact that Turn A had all shapes and sizes. i find the fact that nearly all the Vagan humanoid designs have become repetetive. some managed to stick out but the rest just blend into the background without maiking much impact.

lol sorry if i repeated certain points a few times to many.

Swordia was pretty disappointing:

-Liberta Blade can ''cut'' beam sabers as if they were solid blades
-Shield can take beam shots well but wa easily cut by Zedas R Beam Saber
-It actually still has the hip beam sabers from Normal, a cover slides on the hips to reveal them

It was supposed to release energy from the sword for long range attacks...

Glad they did not since imo pointing a sword and shooting a beam straight from its tip is pretty awkward looking (not talking about the gunsword variants which are either mode changing, eg 00s GN Sword IIs, or guns integrated with a blade, eg. 007S/G Gunsword thingy)

And a Getsuga Tensho esque type of sword ranged attack would have been really dumb in a Gundam show (excluding G)
