There seems to be a request for this thread, so after much consideration, I deem it okay that this thread can be of use.

Feel free to post links to AMVs for FSN here, and any comments as well.

Not an AMV of mine, but probably the best done one (of any anime), in my opinion. It's made completely out of CGs and author made effects too! Simply brilliant. Warning, it does contain Fate/hollow ataraxia spoilers for the final battle of the game. Though I seriously doubt anyone who doesn't know the storyline will know what the hell is going on in it.

I must say though, the Japanese are very good at making music videos. I was thinking of trying my hand at a Fate one once the anime ended that would also incorporate their CGs, but I highly doubt it would live up to the Japanese standard. I suppose I'll try anyway though.

Just to note, those type of videos the Japanese sometimes make are usually called MADs.

Indeed. 'Twas a MAD pack I got that video and a bunch of others in.

I've been trying for months to get the MAD pack from this one huge Fate torrent without much luck. :( I have two MAD AMV's I managed to dig up somewhere and they have me hooked!

A MAD video titled "Existence For..." I believe. Considered one of the better made Fate MAD movies out there. Really like the song and how video and CG images are interlayed.

Btw anyone have that Fate AMV called "nightwish", with the song "ever dream"? That AMV is very, very well done, but I don't think I'm allowed to post the URL to it because I could only find it on Tube, and that site allows you to watch licensed stuff on it.

For some reason, I only get audio when playing this file. Does it use any specific codec?

I can't remember downloading anything special. I just have a CCCP bundle, and it works okay in any of my players.

A very nice MAD. I also noticed the "Operation Legend" mark in the beginning of that video. It also appears in the closing the of the video I posted. Do the two videos have anything to do with each other? Common creator?

I think it's a fairly famous MAD movie group. I've seen their name come up on few other stuff like Air MAD.

So does that MAD have any major spoilers?

AMV is titled "avalon".

A very good AMV that captures the feeling of the game very well. A bit short though, at only around a 1m 40s, but very, very well done.

Just a warning about possible spoilers in that video, it uses a mixture of the anime cut scenes found in the game as well as CG scenes.

That the one to Re-sublimity (as it was also called Avalon)? 'Twas the one I was going to post. My favorite AMV. It isn't as flashy as the other two, but it was the first one I saw and it's stuck with me. Tons of spoilers. Though I watched it before finishing the UBW route and it didn't really spoil me... despite one very overt CG. Still, I recommend it anyway ;)

"answer" was the best Fate MAD I've seen, but it's so big. -_-

What's a good place for big files (150MB~)? Is anyone even interested?

Maybe start seeding a torrent or something? This sounds familiar - is it one which runs through all of F/SN backwards from Heaven's Feel -> Fate?

Oh, and maybe someone should attach Spoiler Warnings to the title of this thread? It's pretty much a given, since most MADs out now use images and animations from the game and usually focus on key events in them.

Cinderella Stair is on of my favorites too, despite my not being too fond of the last few seconds of it. There's this rather amusing one called Saber Brave that I got from the Beast's Lair some time ago; I'm just too lazy to provide a link. :p

The best part was at the end, fantastically done finish.

Looks like Gothic Opera Rock goes well with F/SN, a nice music video to watch. ^^

I found a neat MAD from a torrent called "Silent Force" that's overly flashy but very impressive from a motion graphic perspective. It shows a lot of characters I know nothing about, and I have no idea what's driving the clip selection/transitions. :heh:

I hope to crank out several AMVs to this series once the DVDs are all out (assuming I can actually keep up with the cost of R2s for 8 consecutive months :eyespin: ). Here's hoping.

I've downloaded and watched "Cinderella Stairs" and I must say it's very well done. I like the CGs used and the song(I really like this song) fits well.

Regarding the song. Well ever since I've played Devil Kings/Basara of Capcom I've always liked this song. I just don't know it's title and it's singers. Anyone here who knows the title/singer of the song used in Cinderella Stairs/Basara/Devil Kings?

I don't have much FSN MADs(I have many Tsukihime MADs though) but I really liked these:
Encounter - simple but has good song(Rise) and the scenes fit well
Silent Force - nice work on the cgs
For You - has a dramatic feel into it a bit too long though
Dreams - cg work is subpar but IMO the scenes fit the song very well and I think if the cg is reworked it maybe very good

Oh can someone pm me where to get the better version of "answer" and "ever dream" Sky Global Company and Nightwish I think they're the creators of my 2 favorite Tsukihime MADs.

I would like to make/see an AMV made after the anime has finshed to the song
