Kinda weird for the anime to come out before the game. I wonder if it'll be more of a promotional thing so people will buy the game or an actual anime series ? |
I suppose the downturn in the market might have something to do with this simultaneous media mix trend.
Nonetheless, I'm surprised that Myself;Yourself is getting any kind of anime treatment (new property on a consumer platform, where original bishoujo games haven't fared well in years), despite Nakazawa's involvement. |
can someone explain to me what this game (to see what i can expect from the anime) because i saw the trailer for the game and did not understand a single word just saw a bunch of girls and 2 guys. I would be very thankful.

Two commercials for the game Myself; Yourself
Commercial 1 Commercial 2 The above commercials are for the game and NOT the anime. |
OK, so this thing is definitely on! MOON PHASE confirms that it will air in October. They've also listed the main production staff:
Supervisor: QZo Series’ composition & scenario: Zappa Gou Character design & animation supervisor: Hiratsuka Tomoya Animation production: Dogakobo, Inc. |
"Boku", "Kimi", emphasized, hopefully all know enough about Nakazawa-sama's work would know what that means ^^ although m;y will be mainly a romantic show but I hope it has stuff that at least can provide a Never 7-ish experience.

Production Company: Dogakobo Genre: I want to say, "Romance." Expected Release Date: October 2007 Website: http://www.anime-myyour.com/ I don't know much about the series, and I couldn't find out much about it either. Kuroda Yasuhiro, the director of Chocotto Sister, is the director for this series as well. The OP song is called Tears Infection by Kaori, and the ending song is called Ivy by Ito Kanako. I will post a synopsis once I find one. edit: Note to self.... first order of business before starting a thread: Check under NeoSam's name to make sure the thread isn't already in existence when one suffers from inadequate searching skill. *shakes fist at NeoSam!* |
Not to say anything bad, but look at the post number one it should have what you need at the very least in confirms romance.
|
Read my edit UPR. Guessing of the genre was the least of my problem. :o
|
Like i said i was not intending anything bad by it. And when i wrote my post there was no edit, so you can't fault me for that.
|
From the videos and reading about the story, I say this series is something to look forward too. I liked the gazes the characters gave (strong eyes I'd say) and showing a slap scene in the promos could indicate high levels of drama. Adding the romantic aura it gives would result in something really good for the next season.
Most anticipated character: Yuzuka-sensei :D |
Im interested to see that there are 2 male leads. Usually in harem ther is only 1 so at least 2 girls will be happy at the end. now that is something worth watching. And this shows in october, man october is going to be a great month for new series or second seasons.

Can someone explain me why there are only females in the graphics? I was able to see a man in the promo, but, like in the web page, in this image only females... Something like yuri, or this is usual... ??? http://www.anime-myyour.com/ |

^ That was the first impression i got :heh:
Then again the story is written by Nakazawa Takumi (infinity series :)), so not that surprised there. Though from the visual impression this girl gives away, i think i might not like her character, opposed to Tsugumi. But we shall see :) I bet i will love Asami (black haired girl on the bottom) though :) Overall looks like a nice romance series to follow, and i am all up for romance. Another show to look towards to. On a side note - the grey haired loli reminds me of Sakura due to hairstyle :heh: |
man i can't wait for october 2.

The opening for the anime -
Spoiler for OP:
Personally I'm somewhat disappointed with the OP... |

This one was on my "to watch" list, and if everyone's rocking out (sort of reminds me of the Seto no Hanayome OP), then I'm definitely in.
|
omg this voice is much more irritating than nene's :eyespin::eyespin::eyespin:
(you will know instantly what I'm talking about even if you only watch the first seconds of ep1 :D ) |

BTW ep 1 is on niconico now. |
Her voice makes me want to punch babies, kittens, baby kittens and anything/everything in between.
Edit: Also, actual show contains no rocking out whatsoever and mostly bored me when I wasn't trying to claw out my eardrums. Slice of life stuff isn't my thing anyway though. |
I watched the raw and this anime seems like a typical harem ecchi comedy show ;)
Spoiler for ep1:
|
I liked the first episode. This will most likely be a "Pick Your Favorite Girl" show. In this spirit I already claim Nanaka as my wife. 巫女~ :p
Although the episode focused a bit more on Sana's arrival and Aoi's introduction, it wasn't too slow and managed to grab my attention. It suits my tastes a bit more than D.C. II in regards to the premise. Loved Kaneda Tomoko's performance and the opening sequence direction. Although one has to wonder why they went for a music setting. I'm thinking they are just going along the current times when singing & dancing OP/ED sequences are in. Spoiler:
|
I don't know what's so bad about her voice - it sounds perfectly fine to me. Cutesy, yes. Irritating, no.
|
Who is that glasses girl, shes probably my favorite character just from watching the op

it sounds as if she fell into a cauldron full of helium as a baby! well not exactely ,her voice isn't that high ,but nevertheless very annoying |

Aoi's voice was grating at first, but after a while I got used to it. It's actually kind of cute. That's teenager Aoi though. I still cannot take kid Aoi.
The show itself was a bit more ecchi than I expected. There were some funny moments here and there that kept me somewhat interested, but the last part did its job and hooked me in. The atmosphere of the show definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but I think I'll stick with it and see where it goes. Plus I want to see the 10 year old (Hinako) and how she's going to play a part ;) Here's the ED - Spoiler for ED:

but this was probably whay happened... Spoiler:
the ep on the whole was pretty good - and quite the fascination group of characters we have here ^_^ For aoi, i actually think that the highness of her voice is in proportion to the size of her chest :uhoh: err yes...quite unfitting for her image imo - and at super high speed = doom for my ears XD and i liked the way sana's male friend doesnt come off as the usual comical idiot like what most harems have. He can actually get a good girl himself with his charm :3 |
