Rozen Maiden intro question
Is there a karaoke version for the opening song to the first season? (Meaning its the song without lyrics)
|
Kinjirareta Asobi? Sort of. Track 3 on the single is the off-vocal version, but the backing vocals are still there and pop up occasionally, especially during the chorus. If you don't mind that, there is one. If you don't like that, then there isn't :/

Rozen Maiden - Music discussion (OP/ED & OST, etc.)
I'd like to ask what time period and place RM's songs are patterned after (Is it Victorian)? Any other albums/CDs that have similar sounds to it?
Also, what is the string(?) instrument that plays in a lot of RM and RM Traumend songs? The instrument I'm talking about is the one that plays for the first part of Hagashii Omoi and Bara Jubai of the first RM. Thanks~ |
LOL it is NOT a string instrument! It is a keyboard instrument, teh harpsichord!
Harpsichord was used primarily in the Baroque period before it was replaced by the mainstream piano in the Classical period. Rozen Maiden music makes excellent use of the piano, violin and harpsichord. Even though I love it for the characters and plot, the music is equal to that quality or can even be better. And Suiseiseki still owns. |
the harpsichord is a string and a keyboard instrument.
|
u cant classify teh harpsichord as a string instrument e.g. Violins, Cellos and stuff.
Note that the piano has strings in it too. |
an instrument that uses a string to produce the music is a string instrument
there are 3 main string instrument categories: bowed, plucked and struck violin is in the first, harpsichord in the 2nd and piano in the 3rd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_string_instruments |
okokokook lets not OT man, i was thinking more of an Orchestral classification, not a general classification. I do do music theory and that's how i think.
I believe the RM OST can stand alone without the anime, at least the 1st season OST |
Interesting... You'll have to forgive my assumption since I have only my ears, and I really thought it was a string.
Baroque... *digs up some info* Yeah, RM music is soooo good. :D Thanks for the replys guys. :D |
Yep Rozen Maiden's music was just one reason why I liked that show so much myself. I dunno about "Victorian" sounding but the little sound clips they used for the "eyecatches (commercial breaks)" (both seasons but mainly the first) sounded pretty true to the Victorian element of the show.
Such an elegant sounding intrument. Here's a page with some samples of various types of harpsichords http://www-personal.umich.edu/~bpl/hpsi.html Didn't know what it was called either but now i do! |
Lol I duno whether the RM people used a real Harpischord (that will get costs up!) or used an electrionic keyboard to simulate the sound.
I can't imagine seeing a Harpischord in Japan XD that wud be SOOO out of place. |
I browse through the booklet of Rozen Maiden Traumend. list of musicans are keyboard, programming, guitar, percussion and strings.
|
im really sori 4 i dont know the answer 4 ur question.but i really like rozen maiden, especially suigintou!!!
